We have a steady stream of people wanting
to set roots down all over this country despite the
rising costs of living. Lets look at why Australia
is considered such an attractive drawcard globally:

Ever watched "Postcards," and so many other travel
shows on television?

We're made aware of our culturally rich capital cities.
Of our rugged wide-open spaces of the many National Parks.
Then of course there's our laid-back culture. It's not
uniform across the country and is a diverse mix but
there are core-values that we all share.

Values such as friendship, mateship, easy-going, family-
friendly, common-sense, humour, optimism, and much more.
The country is family-friendly. A good place to bring up
children. We have good healthcare, childcare, education,
a healthy out-door lifestyle, and safe, clean, public
transport. Top universities and the list goes on from
sporting venues and clubs, Vineyards. A thriving Arts
scene.

There's so much to see and do. It is impossible to be
bored. And did I mention climate? Wide choice there
as well.

We have a safe and stable environment. It is no wonder
that we're envied by many around the globe.

Armchair Critic,

My issue here is you only have one voice box as a person. You should use it properly and realise as a person you can use it to make a difference and change the lives of others. Not always, but sometimes.

Really if a person like Bronwyn Bishop has nothing of value to add to the current conflict then she should decide if she is even going to get involved.

If she doesn't like the ABC coverage on the current conflict, fine, but there is no need to bring neo-Nazi Germany into the debate. I mean we had six million Jews killed at the time (as per the link I provided), it's not something to trivialise and then think she can just token apologise her way out of it after a backlash from the ABC and some members of the public. It's not on.

I'm for responsibility and there was no need for Bronwyn Bishop to bring neo-Nazi Germany into her rave on television. It's doesn't equate to the seriousness of the issue in Gaza, that being ABC television coverage.

I'm all for offending people for the better good. Some people do need to be challenged about what they stand for. All fine there with me. I'm also totally opposed to the current actions of the Israeli government and Hamas, but please spare people from discussions about Gaza in Australia which do nothing to help those suffering in current circumstances.

Bronwyn Bishop should take her concerns about the ABC directly to the head office. Blurting something out on television will do nothing.

We are heaping problem on problem.
Some are very substantial in that they could on their own collapse
our economy.
Take the mega $billions we are planning on wind farms at sea.
The Europeans have discovered that they have to ask for a 65% increase
in the subsidy because they have found that the maintenance costa are
way more than they expected. Anyone involved with marine work could
have told them that.
Our farmers are being threatened with bankruptcy because of green laws.
As a result we will get higher priced food.
The zeronet 2050 will send us broke with the $Trillions cost of it all
before they discover that it is impossible.
The schools are not doing their job and are being run by woke pupils.
The universities think they are above all us plebs. Let the students
set the agenda of wokeness, while they collect money from o'seas students.
Local councils are more worried about what flags to fly !
The housing situation has reached the point of absurdity.
The govt solution bring in more people, not just some teams of
carpenters, electricians, plumbers, brickies etc etc but 600,000 of
all sorts from gawd knows where.
What percentage of them ae coming from the middle east ?

What could possibly go wrong ?

Foxy,
Just because these cultures are present in Australia by willy nilly immigration does not make them Australian !

Good Morning Indyvidual,

Of course not everyone is an Australian citizen.
But I'm not talking about citizenship. I'm
talking about the contributions that they have
made to this country. Changing it from a
cultural backwater to one of the most admired
countries in the world that many want to come to.

Foxy believes Australia was culturally backward, it is now culturally admired by the World. A Typical woke mind! She cannot see the future conflicts awaiting as cultures conflict, cultures that have always existed, but some cultures have grown by taking in excess foreign cultures that hold conflicting values to what has built Australia. They come here for the life they want to be familiar with and change the values. There are No-Go areas in Australia already, and areas where people are confronted and feel threatened.
