Again, Foxy speaks with forked Tongue, says one thing [It is aboriginal land from which we gained benefit] then assumes she means something else {Well I do not mean we pay for our benefits from living on aboriginal land}. She is one of the best advocates for voting NO as she is not honest toward her opinions. Say one thing and mean another.

If you believe it is aboriginal land, it is assumed you believe we owe rent, if you believe it is freehold land and you brought it no land rent to anyone is payable.

We have a community garden next to identified aboriginal tribal land, we have offered to help them develop a bush tucker garden and orchard, they are not interested as they would have to attend to the plants.

This morning, talking heads advised that both Dutton and Albanese want a Voice: and the are "not that far apart". Dutton wants a legislated Voice and Albanese wants his in the Constitution.

Once again, there is not much difference between the major parties (the vote in Parliament to hold the referendum was 59 for and only 19 against) and we are now a virtual one-party state which allows the people a token say only every three years.

This referendum is a wonderful opportunity for voters to say, 'Up yours' to the Coalition and Labor; and give serious thought to putting the Coalition, Labor and the Greens at the bottom at the next election and every election thereafter.

Dear Shadow Minister,

The Voice to Parliament is a question of equity.
It has no power of veto. It will not create new
wrongs. It will give our Indigenous People an
opportunity to try to find solutions and not
repeat old wrongs.

We're being asked to give them this opportunity.
Nothing else has worked. We can't refuse their
request. That is what I strongly believe.

Australia now risks a Brexit-style social and
political polarisation and setting back progress on
reconciliation and overcoming Indigenous disadvantage.

I hope that the Coalition will eventually choose to
support the Voice. There's so many good people
within their ranks who already do. Senators like
James Paterson amongst others.

Dear Foxy,

A catch cry of the French Revolution (1789) was "Liberty, Equality Fraternity", not "Liberty, Equity, Fraternity".

https://www.diplomatie.gouv.fr/en/coming-to-france/france-facts/symbols-of-the-republic/article/liberty-equality-fraternity

Believing that removing a fundamental basis of democracy is essential for improving the lot of indigenous Australians sounds nonsensical to me.

Dear Fester,

That reminds me of the golden oldie:

"Don't throw a boomerang at his head,
his IQ will double!"
