Ah, their regular Aussie road show and photo Op. huh? Yeah, whats best for me is being from the states, I can pretty much bypass the aussie saturation coverage... but I did check out the stories in a google news search though. And your right wakings, her lips are juiced again... saw a very hilarious photo of them both at some show, with her nephew. Urbans sitting to her right, the nephews sitting on his lap looking bored, and botoxic in the back, wearing huge sunglasses, a cap, over the obvious looking wig, looking pretty embarrassed by the whole situation. Obviously the photo Op only required the one kid... or just the one who would agree to go along, and besides, that way she can consign him to urban, while she can contemplate ... on herself.

Just to let you all know Botox and KU were at the Royal Easter Show in Sydney yesterday with her nephew. Its certainly not the place for privacy, I smell the PR machine turning here.Does she realise she has two adopted children in this world as well?

Well, heres some more proof that whatever botoxic touches, turns out to really suck... when Warner Bros. got a look at the final version of The Invasion, botixics next movie, they thought it was so "dull and talky" they ordered reshoots. (That does sound like the usual kidman drivel doesnt it?) Now, remember, the shooting for this film began in 2005! The director ,Oliver Hirshbiegel was unavailable, so the studio brought in the Wachowski Bros. to punch up the movies action... hence the aforementioned car stunt, with zombies on board accident a month ago. Looks like the studio was keeping an eye out for another kidman pretentious crash and burn film... now only if they will be smart enough to keep her face off the movie poster...

Is it usual for a director not to want to return and fix up what the big wigs want? I think if you worked on a project you would want to be involved with it to the end. Do you know why the director was unavailable and where to you get your information?Maybe his leading actress was too much hard work? he he he
If I remember correctly it took 2 years for 'Eyes Wide Shut' to complete and the the director said it ws because his two leading actors were to interfering.
So 'The Invasion' another NK movie to avoid thanks fo the tip I don't think I was planning to watch it anyway.

...its not known why the director was unavailable, but naturally I would just suspect that he refused to do the reshoots. Yes, Eyes wide Shut was a mess, but also recall that Stepford Wives also had a troubled shooting as well. This is not at all surprising to me, seeing that kidman seems to be a very bland and robotic actress, i can just imagine that she simply has her people and agents lining up these scripts, and she just learns the lines, shows up on the set, does what the director tells her and then moves on to the next script. It also seems noticable that these days she seems to be doing alot less PR for her movies.. for Fur, for instance, all she did was appear at the Rome film festival, with not one talk show, or magazine interviews... she seems to have come to the realization that it is futile in the case of her movies...

It is very possible that the original director doesn't want his name attached to a flop. This has happened before. The director having nothing but trouble either with the company or the actors throwing tantrums etc and insisting on doing it their way (Russell CRowe does this constantly.) In the end, after working for months on a film being dictated to by egotistical 'stars', not allowing him/her to do the job he was hired to do...that is, directing...the director, totally disheartened, just gives up. It can happen out of disillusionment or out of anger, and they just walk away and don't want their name attached to the film. It would be interesting to find out if this was the case. Having worked on films/television series with Kidman, admittedly many years ago when she was much younger, I witnessed extreme frustration from director and crew over her demands and snooty behaviour. Behaviour like this impacts on crew, as well as the other actors. It's hard on everyone involved.
