Any comment on the following, and how you seeing the "Gun Nut" (Australia) coalition of crackpot political parties, of which you said you were a founding member of one, or some such nonsense. When the crazies come to POWER can we expect American style gun laws here? I know there are many within who favour such laws for Australia. Have you written to Elephant Bob and Fat Bob in NSW demanding a chance to their Shooters and Hooters Party policy of loaded guns for all school children .....me thinks not!

The Americans must be over the Moon, considering their murder rate is lower than such lawless outposts as Uganda and South Sudan (your chart). They even nudge out Afghanistan AMAZING! However in Australia the "Gun Nuts" are not financed and supported by the NRA of Uganda, but rather they get their riding instructions direct from the NRA "Gun Nuts" of America. Unfortunate America has the highest homicide rate (your chart) of any developed western style nation, including Australia! BTW doing better than the US are such notables safe havens as Angola and Turkmenistan, more the pity America can't achieve a homicide rate better than Turkmenistan. There is poor little Australia with a murder rate five times safer (thanks to robust gun laws, which you seek to dismantle)) than the United States. Issy what are we doing wrong? I'm sure under your "Gun Nut" regime we could surly kill more innocent women and children than at least Botswana! What do you think? I do like your chart, I will refer to it regularly.
