mhaze,

BTW - I don't walk away because I realise that
I'm on the wrong side of the argument as you
claim. I walk away because I respect my own
opinions and I am wise enough to realize that
I can't change your unhealthy behaviour and
beliefs.

Anecdote aren’t data, but…..
My fully vaccinated daughter came down with the virus just before Christmas. Her son was diagnosed a day later. Her husband, who’d been away on business came down with it two days after returning home. Whether he was exposed for 5 days or 7 days made zero difference.

My GP daughter-in-law, vaccinated to the gills, got it from an a-symptomatic patient. Within 3 days my son, her husband, and three kids were all diagnosed with it. All were fine. The kids were a-symptomatic. All now out of isolation. 5 days, 7 days makes no difference.

Rache,
"Also from above, the vaccinated can indeed still contract COVID but will have a lighter viral load and are thus less likely to pass it onto others."
I hear this a lot but have never seen anything proven and with the billions they have made in profits they should be able to do this surely?
My understanding is that the patents ran out, the Indians are huge manufacturers and the Indians have also vanquished Covid at a much lower cost? They make it, very cheaply and they are way in front of the game from us in the west. Our politicians and doctors fall over themselves to foist tests and vaccines that don't work on us? Any kick backs going on do you think? Drug Companies have previously proven to be totally corrupt of course so.....

mhaze,

So glad to hear that your family members were all
"fully vaccinated to the gills," and that they are
now fine. It looks like the vaccines did do their
job. It could have ended badly for all had they not
been vaccinated.

Foxy,

Yes. They chose to be vaccinated. We all chose to be vaccinated. But we had the choice to not get vaccinated. Everyone should have that choice. Only the authoritarians think there shouldn't be a choice.
