And the secret of his success thus far is

He started off OK, but he has blotted his copy book too many times since. His constituents will probably keep voting for him, so what the rest of us think doesn't mean anything.

The fact that he thinks the illegal Tamils should be exempt from our immigration laws is enough for me to say that he is not a fit person to be in parliament, never mind be deputy PM. But, the Liberals will probably cave into them too.

I thought the bloke he knifed for the job seemed a decent enough, old fashioned gentleman type. But that's what is likely have done for him. That sort of stuff is not popular with the immature, self-serving rabble in politics today.
