A very spirited post, putting the lefties in their place. Well said! They have probably forgotten about the poor character of past Socialists (memories of goldfish).

However, what the Hawkes etc did in the past doesn't excuse Joyce: he is not much chop. Anyone who can't handle his own life should have no say or influence over the lives of 25 million Australians, Nationals, Liberals or Labor. The others, Greens, independent riff-raff and also rans don't get much chance do it.

As for the lack of response to your original post - maybe they can't?

I see that Joyce is siding with Senator Sam McMahon against Jacinta Price for preselection. Ms. McMahon felt it was necessary to say that her odd walk in in the Senate the the other day was because she was ill, not intoxicated.
