The huge political and military threat from outside, for Hitler it was the communists of the Soviet Union, for Trump its the communists of China. And not the least of all, the spectacular rise, and equally, the spectacular fall, the outer fringe of "loyal political" supporters slinking away as the writing is on the wall .
