As I keep saying: politicians, bureaucrats and business people are all dishonest and untrustworthy low-life scumbags.

And the 4 Corners expose last night verifies it.

Keep in mind that Porter is a lawyer so should we in all honesty expect him to behave any differently than he does?

It would be better if ministers were relaxed and engrossed with their private affairs, rather than pouring out their frustrations on the heads of ordinary people, hitting us with their laws and regulations.

How much anguish could Victorians avoid if Dan Andrews had a nice, attractive young staffer to divert and calm him down!

Foxy,

"...as well as more diversity in the selection of MPs
(rather than just the private schools' clique) would help"

Like Bob Hawke?

We are supposed to be a multicultural society.
Our parliament should reflect that. And also
more women in parliament would also be more
representative. Bob Hawke fitted into the old
boy's club.

Foxy,

You just said: "We are supposed to be a multicultural society. Our parliament should reflect that."

You make me laugh. You have totally misinterpreted the purpose of Australian Multiculturalism.

You, like most people, believe that it was all about creating a harmonious cosmopolitan society that would end racial and cultural prejudice.

The reality is that Australian Multiculturalism was actually the vehicle for an Asianization process during the Great Asianization Period (1980-2020) that would integrate Australia into Asia making Australia an Asian nation-state that mirrored greater Asia in its racial and ethnic diversity.

This has definitely been achieved in Melbourne and Sydney.

Problem is that it has opened Australia to a virtual takeover by China. In 1980 no one thought China would rise so quickly to be a superpower equal to the US. I think Bronwyn Bishop is correct when she said last week that Australia now runs the risk of becoming a vassal state of China.
