If you ever wanted a clear demonstration of political bias by the ABC this is it.

An "investigation" is done into the MPs of one party only, and information that has not been verified is presented on TV as fact in spite of a clear warning that much of the material is defamatory.

If the MPs in question sue the ABC, I bet the ABC will want the government to fund its legal bill. I also bet that when the ABC loses and is forced to pay out the litigants and court fees from its budget there will be more wailing that it is being defunded.
