Oh well, Mhazing Gracefully,

Revelations nothwithstanding, pile upon pile, 'He's the Man'.

So goes the 'mantra' of the ever-faithful.

See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil.

CDC, evil dark forces, never to be trusted.

Truth equals Trump, and take no prisoners.

The world awaits the next 'proclamation' with ever such bated breath.

Dear Saltpetre,

Do You wait with bated breath

Dear mhaze,

You are getting rather shrill young lad.

Appealing to Foxy to get the big bad Steeleredux to stop is just childish.

You seem determined not to answer a very simple couple of questions.

Were WHO wrong when they said; “Globally, about 3.4% of reported COVID-19 cases have died.” ?

And does Victoria currently have a CFR above that figure?

I'm even prepared to lay off the fact you clearly stated the figure was wrong. Perhaps you were indeed really talking about the implied IFR. I wholeheartedly doubt it but concede there is the tiniest of possibilities.

There you go. No excuses. Let's hear it.

SR wrote: "Appealing to Foxy to get the big bad Steeleredux to stop is just childish."

Au contraire....I was merely referring to your previous bizarre post to Foxy to explain why you are so determined to pretend to not notice the monumental errors you've made here.

"You seem determined not to answer a very simple couple of questions."

Quite the chutzpah there from the chap who is determined to ignore all invitation to own up.

But not avoiding the questions, just pointing out that the questions are inappropriately based as they are on your utter misunderstanding of the issue.

"Were WHO wrong when they said; “Globally, about 3.4% of reported COVID-19 cases have died.” ?

No. But they were wrong to use that number in the models, which is what I pointed out then and now, and which seems to be bafflingly difficult for you to understand.

"And does Victoria currently have a CFR above that figure?"

Yes, as does New York, Tasmania and for all I know Upper Kumbakta West.

"I'm even prepared to lay off the fact you clearly stated the figure was wrong."

Translation: the penny has dropped and we are now in the phase where SR tries to get out with what he considers some self-respect.
Bon chance

Reading some people's posts - one can get the
impression that what's written in the message to
which they are responding is not the opinion of
the original respondent but the views of the person
posting through their own filters and perspectives.

Many of us pick out what we want to see and hear.

Trying to explain and validate one's opinion is
usually a waste of time to someone who's not going to
listen anyway and is just waiting to respond.

In cases like those - the best opinions are the ones
that remain unexpressed. It's therefore a good idea
to move on and do something more meaningful for yourself
under these circumstances.
