yeah Josephus are you blind? Nothing to see. Towns looted, numerous innocent bystanders assaulted, people murdered, police murdered. Yeah antifa/blm just a bunch of school kids blowing off steam. Just ask Joe or Kamala. Vast majority of nazis were peaceful also.

"And what proportion of BLM members are communist?"

Irrelevant. The majority of the leadership is communist and that's the issue. The rest just follow. T'was always thus. What portion of the 1917 Bolsheviks were Marxists? Very few. But the leadership was, and that's what counted.

"rather than assume the police officers are innocent, as you do in every case, why not allow justice to prevail and have the verdict determined after ALL the evidence is considered."

Oh lookie there. Paul suddenly develops some nuance. When the evidence was scant and those he relies on to tell him what to think were telling him falsehoods, Paul's only concern was whether to use the gallows or the guillotine on the officers. Now the evidence goes the other way, and Paul wants to await further evidence, which he hopes will prove that he wasn't led down the garden path...AGAIN.

As to assuming the police are innocent, I did no such thing. What I said was that the evidence will provide reasonable doubt and they will therefore no be convicted of murder. Nuance.

Another black man was killed overnight. This time in St Louis. So where are the riots? Oh wait, this black man was a policemen killed on the job. Therefore no riots. Won't make the ABC news.
He was a 'family man' but I'm not sure if he raped anyone, so let's move on, heh?

Black Lives Matter - so long as they can be used to further the aims of the leadership of the Democrats. Otherwise...

I still can't get over the fact that Trump's grand-daddy made his money out of the brothel business.

I suppose there's a saying amongst the Trump descendants: Like father like son like grandson. And probably explains why little Donald appears to see himself as a bit of a lady-killer.

mhaze,

> Irrelevant.
No, very relevant when that's what's being complained about.

>The majority of the leadership is communist and that's the issue.
Actually communist? Or just labelled that way by their enemies to make it easier to discredit them?
If the former, where's the evidence?

Dear mhaze,

Biden made a small stumble in what was otherwise a pretty solid speech.

Here is part of the transcript;

"If I were president, my language would be less divisive, I’d be looking to lower the temperature in this country, not raise it. I’d be looking to unite the nation. But look, if Donald Trump wants to ask the question, “Who will keep you safer as president?” Let’s answer that question. First, some simple facts. When I was vice president, violent crime fell 15% in this country. We did it without chaos and disorder.

And yes, we did it with democratic mayors in most of the major cities in this country. The murder right now is up 26% across the nation this year under Donald Trump. Do you really feel safer under Donald Trump? COVID has taken this year, just since the outbreak, has taken more than 100… Look, the lives, when you think about it, more lives this year than any other year for the past 100 years. More than 180,000 lives in just six months, an average of 1,000 people dying every day in the month of August. Do you really feel safe under Donald Trump? Mr. Trump, you want to talk about fear? Do you know what people are afraid of in America? Afraid they’re going to get COVID. They’re afraid they’re going to get sick and die. And that is in no small part because of you. We’re now on track to more than 200,000 deaths in this country due to COVID. More than 100,000 seniors have lost their lives to the virus. More cops have died from COVID this year than have been killed on patrol."

Compared to your president Biden is one of the world's great orators. The Trump campaign will likely rue the day they decided to attack on coherence.
