Punter 57 want to bet? do you understand that right now Rudd stands in the polls exactly the same as Howard did in 1996?
Do you think other than a change is even a possibility?
Tapp no anger no spite just an under standing of politics, you will run last or second last in your electorate, unless a last minute rush of garden Gnomes runs in the seat.
My party's candidate will win, with an increased majority over the last election.
On that day we judge our leader no party other than the coalition and Labor can be elected to rule.
The winner must work on behalf of ALL Australians not a few radicals.
Be assured Stu I take your spite in good heart, it belittles you not me.
To stand for election you must improve your public image.
Labor Can not rap its self in false colors it must be what it is and that is no scab party.
Stu, fairdinkum mate not a taunt do you have any idea, a true understanding ,of why our manufacturing industry is suffering?
Or a balanced idea of world trade?
Stu would you have us lock out foreign goods even if it saw our primary produce locked out too?

No I do not expect to lock up foreign goods but i do expect a party and unions not to backflip and buy sweatshop goods.

I expect them to do as they say not as they do.

I expect them to stand for the people and not just themselves

I expect them to answer when questioned wether or not they like the question

I expect them to be honest enought to be truthful to the people

I expect them when they have done wrong to say so instead off cutting off takes to hide the fact

I expect these scabs to stand up and apologise to those who they should be supporting.

I do expect them to be in the know on whats going on instead of playing dumb.

I do not expect a lot, but in the view of the alp and unions would be way too much.

I can be threatened to be taken outside and be sorted
I can have people reverse into my car
I can have my letterbox trashed

But i will not take garbage and silence from you or anyone else because of obedience from expulsion.

Stuart Ulrich
Independent Candidate for Charlton

How childish and pathetic unfortunately the Conservatives have now got their backs to the wall and acting like fascists. The Conservatives can bleat on as much as they like about Union Bosses and Union Bully boys but the electorate know that the adverts and the snyde remarks are just not true. People are suffering and they now know that the Howard Government have shown their hand in showing their hatred on working people and their representatives. The facts now show that the Government have made workers worse off and the moderates in the Government do not like it. A genuine reasonable Consevative would never use those bully boy tactics that Peter Reith and Kevin Andrews have used. Social History has always shown us that when democratic governments attack employees the electorate votes them out. This is natural and democracy levels the scales back to fairness. Howard would not be in the position that he is in now if he had not used his dictatorship to attack employees they were already struggling in hospitality etc what Howard and Andrews did was to show the Australian people that we now have a heartless Government which is blinkered. The rich get rich and the poor are becoming poorer the Church leaders told them and Howard ignored them now Howard is wasting our money on quick fixes. At last the Australian people have realised people have to suffer in a capitalist society before they realise who thier true representatives are. The next Conservative leader will be the republican Richard Turnball.

Tapp in no way can you refer to me as a bully boy, I have thoughts about your remoteness to reality and understanding of politics that I will keep to myself.
I have true concerns at your failure to understand no government was ever elected in this country other than by a majority of voters.
It pains me that you a person standing for election, seems unable to understand your ideas may be shared by only a few.
You however have the right to your failures ,including the one you face in the election.
SCAB? you are aware how much contempt I have for those who deserve that label.
Yet even you understand you use it wrongly, reinvent your self! find policy's, they sell a party far better than mud.
If you put your best into this election you can improve your vote! maybe even get one thousand votes!
Oh by the way mate you must not paint yourself a hero, no offense Stu but if your public speaking is as disjointed you must expect trouble.
However those ,if they did who damage your letter box ext are not doing it in fear you may win, unless its the gnomes party watch for them mate bit set in their ways that mob.

If there is one person I will think of on election night its you. I hope you keep on OLO that evening if your not going to help out at the polls.

I almost hope he wins so not to spoil your night. You remind me of an excited child.
I admire your loyalty if nothing else.
Now could you please Answer this question?
Who else in the ALP do you admire and why?
Other than Kevin Rudd.

James P
thank you for your response.

I'm not suggesting you are in it for the glory.. no drama there. Maybe you are a bit idealistic... naive ? don't know, only time will tell.

I think at some point, you will find yourself up against an almost impenetrable barrier of 'vested interest'.. on either major side of politics. If you become too much of a pest, then they will do a 'Hanson' on you.. but if ur just a mild irritant of no electoral consequence, then they will just regard you as irrelevant. Though if you got up and a tight battle was being fought, your 'relevance' would suddenly take an upswing :)

Regarding religion, the freedom to convert is one of our most basic rights, because it is most important for freedom. Once you take away that right, you have totalitarianism, and this is most pronounced in both Islamic and Catholic run societies.

Freedom of religion, means freedom to embrace, and freedom to express/or proclaim. It sure is NOT the right to blast John 3:16 up at sleeping shift workers in the Fiztroy High rise flats as I saw one bloke doing once.

We can choose to watch or not watch, listen, or not listen, read or not read. The biblical position is:

"How shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?" (Romans 10:14)

I certainly don't believe in 'badgering' people, but b4 I'm accused of 'that' here :) people know they can simply see 'BOAZ' and change the chanel.

Your thoughts about sustainable or far sighted policy ? I STRONGLY urge you to make a trip to see AMAZING GRACE and get an inkling of exactly what William Wilberforce was up against in his attempt to rid us of the slave trade. Its a great movie, well acted, and very telling.
