JAMES PURSER...for SENATE :)
Hi James.. I had a peek at your web site and your little vid.. nice to know you. I noticed one thing you stated "All these things bandied around (Defense,Aboriginal welfare etc) seem to only advance someone's political career, not fix the problem".... OOOOh myyy :) now... Knock knock..helooooo... while I'm sure your heart (at this stage) is well intended, does it occurr to you that your own use of those issues is intended to advance your own career ? Of course it does, and you are sincere in the belief that such things can be 'fixed' apart from advancing or restricting someone's political career... ? I'd call that slightly naive mate.. no offence. You are strong on idealism, and short on the realities of political life it seems. Still, I wish you well in your quest, and hopefully you can be the 'political stun gun' that stuns Kevin Rudd and John Howard into more 'human' thinking rather than simply 'political'. James.. remember how they treated Hanson ? It happened because they deemed her a serious threat. That will happen to ANYone deemed a real threat. I hardly think a lone 30 yr old from Woolongong is suddenly going to 'solve' "Defense" "Aboriginal Welfare" and the other things overnight or in 20 full terms in parliament. We need a national awakening like this: http://www.welshrevival.com/ When a nation humbles itself before Almighty God, things can and do happen... far and wide. BOAZ,
Believe it or not, I'm not doing this for the glory, if I wanted that I'd have joined a party and gone that route. I am seriously annoyed at short sighted policy development, and if I can give the major parties a boot towards long term planning then all the better. As to religion, I respect everyones right to hold their own beliefs, but I do not believe that people have the right to try and convert others. My post
the unaustralian labor scab party lets cross the picket line and do as labor and the unions do SUPPORT OVERSEAS SWEAT SHOPS Get it Labor says quite loudly australian manufacturing who cares " NOT US" Lets buy from those who are treated badly and paid next to nothing. Lets not support australian workers or their families. Lets help those bosses of overseas sweatshops get richer. Greg Combet is so thick that he has no idea, being lead around by his hand. The only reason he speaks is because someone rights his material. Did ask him about the Sweat shop T shirts but didnt know about them and the kevin07 campaign, YEAH RIGHT. Also the unions are blind to this. Stuart Ulrich Independent for Charlton Saying what needs to be said If you dont like the truth get out Posted by tapp, Monday, 13 August 2007 8:26:18 AM

Stuart,
“If you dont like the truth get out” what on earth gives you the idea that a) you actually have a handle on what is the truth and what’s not b) you can tell anyone to get out People have moved on from the days of class struggle. Union power has been smashed because it had become the problem rather than the solution in improving the lives of workers. Australians are now wealthier than they have ever been before. The politics of envy is base however it is still alive and well. Studies show that Australians would prefer a) A 50% pay rise if their colleagues only got 25% than b) A 100% pay rise if their colleagues received 200% However, Howards work choices legislation goes too far. It gives too much power to business and neglects the rights of the worker. Hopefully Rudd will scrap the IR laws or at the very least, make them fairer. Howard, in general, has become one of the worst prime ministers we have had. He has shown that he will do anything to win an election. His recent vote buying exercises in Tasmania (hospital) and in Qld (local councils) show he has no principles at all. He has turned his back on the issues he purported to believe in, in the quest to retain power. I can’t wait to see the back of him. Australian manufacturing was a backwards, overprotected industry which was stagnating and yet successive federal gov’ts rewarded them for it. New manufactures are now at the forefront of global technology and productivity and can compete with the world’s best. Those who have been left behind deserve the resources necessary to successfully retrain them for the modern workplace. We cannot retain unskilled manual labour jobs as there are too many who can do these jobs overseas for a pittance. We need to focus on our comparative advantage, which is our skills and knowledge base. Posted by Paul.L, Monday, 13 August 2007 1:18:46 PM

What is it with Labor voters like Belly? Still months away from polling day and already gloating about victory. We've heard all this prior to the the past 3 Federal Elections and seen the egg on all the usual faces on each occasion. Will they never learn how not to make fools of themselves?
No, they won't! And that's because they MUST be fools to vote Labor in the first place. How else to explain that they never wake up? For example, when Bob Hawke ends up a multi-millionaire business tycoon after 20 years leading the Union Movement, don't his disciples wonder what gives? When Paul Keating (or his sister, or his sons and daughters) sit on half the boards in half the companies down at the "Big End of Town", don't the true-believers rub their eyes in amazement? And when Kevin Rudd talks about helping the worker, but shares his bed with someone worth TWO HUNDRED MILLION bucks who has perenniallly found ways to dud these very same workers, don't the Bellies of this world ever stop to consider all this? Nope. All seems quite normal to them. And, I fear, it always will. Cheers Posted by punter57, Monday, 13 August 2007 1:31:09 PM

Tapp you will make no headway in this election, you are in truth lost in a world of your own.
Elections are judgment day things each voter expresses his or her views on our future directions.
No party not based in the middle of voters home territory can be elected.
For past working class warriors of the left the message must be spoken, the lights on the hill not longer burn on hungry children.
Those kids grew up, they may well own 2 homes and earn $90.000 a year working in an Aluminum smelter.
The wife maybe earns more.
Or even more in a construction job, once they still voted ALP Howard took advantage of a sleeping leaderless direction less ALP and made them the new conservatives.
Howard quite bizarrely made Labors mistake! he took his battlers for granted and lost them.
Kevin Rudd found him self in charge of the ALP and knew he had one chance handed to him by an old man out of touch and he took it, he will be Prime Minister.
I can not say I will like every thing he does or even like him in 18 months.
But he is going to be liked in large numbers ,huge poll leader by most Australians.
Conservatives will be a better party for the flogging they are about to get, after a long healing and rebuilding process.
And the ALP will have shifted yet again toward the people it represents.
Would you Tapp be more happy if it kept yesterdays policy's and lost every election?
Tapp can you justifies your post? its rudeness? its intense hate?
Be here Tapp please be here the day after the election to let me remind you how I predicted your loss .
I have no fear of a Labor retreat on its promises, the fight will continue if it is needed but another Howard government is a living nightmare.
