Rupert Gerritsen published his book - "Australia
and the Origins of Agriculture"in 2008. Three years
later ANU historian Bill Gammage released - "The
Biggest Estate on Earth" (a major study).
I must have mixed the two up. However, Bruce Pascoe
acknowledges his debt to both authors in "Dark Emu."
Joe,
Does my evidence trump "Cairns News?"
It's not a question of "My" evidence.
But evidence that has been widely accepted both by
historians and their peers and a majority of
Australians especially young people, schools, and so on.
You obviously are not interested in evidence, despite
your claims. Because you dismiss anything that does
not agree with your views. We've been over this before
many times. And you continue to brush aside anything
that dares to critique your rusted on thinking.
You will read stuff against Indigenous people. Yet
you won't bother reading any other evidence that presents
views to the contrary.
So your insistence on any "ėvidence" comes with the
Preface - that it must not contradict what you already
believe.
An argument that you're not prepared to lose, under any
circumstances.
I'd have more respect for you where you to
read Bruce Pascoe's book or Bill Gammage's.
Cheers.
