ise mise it is not something I like, but it is true John Howard was a good Prime Minister
He held blue collar workers in his hands, they, like most Australians, still think his gun laws are great
He read the minds of voters, I as a sporting shooter, no longer, have seen far less dead roadside signs
Less dead livestock on the paddock fence line as yobbo weekend warriors blasted everything
A civil Society demands some control on who can, and who can not, own a gun
At a gun shop, with a very active sporting shooter, to top up his ammo for a week long pig hunt,
We saw the scruffiest bloke in Newcastle want to buy a pistol, to he told us, frighten the life out of a local cop

Belly,

John Howard said that he hated guns and caused draconian and illogical laws to be enacted.

Many of the so-called National Laws are at best, stupid and at worst designed to annoy people.

For some reason, you avoid any reference to people being able to defend themselves with non-lethal weapons.

Issy, you like to call our gun laws stupid, most Australians don't agree with you. Stupid is the likes of Steve Dickson and the way he was pissing his pants with excitement thinking Yank gun money would get him into power. You might prefer American style (no) gun laws, where mass shootings are common place, Australian are not willing to entertain mass murder so a few "fruit cakes" can get their jollies with guns.

BTW, great result for The Greens in the Senate, 6 seats won, the Shooters and Hooters didn't get a look in. The gun supporting grubs Anning and Leyonhjelm are no more.

BBTW at the next election there is every possibility the Green numbers in the Senate could go to 12.

Some of the Forums far out old scrags must be "over the Moon" with the re-election of Sarah Hanson-Young in SA, and my friend Mehreen Faruqi winning in NSW. Probably wont read this, I see they are busy on another thread complaining that the can't park their 'Zimmer Frames' down at the supermarket.

PAUL,

Many people are elated that Sarah Sea Patrol got back in, that means that the sum of intelligence among the Greens has been kept low.

Then there is the comedy element, no one can beat her at that.

Long may she represent the Greens.

Have you found yet where I advocate arming everyone?

Happy hunting!!

ise mise nevertheless your thoughts are out of touch with Australians
I a unionist who in the end worked very hard to remove him [workchoices] know he was an outstanding politician
Maybe you get your thoughts from Fox/Sky, let me assure you they are not representative
We would have many more needless deaths if we ever took your path
We however never ever will, in time even gun city, America will adopt a less rights to own a gun policy
