Paul'

"//If you do, do you think that they should, legally, be allowed some means of defence?// Not to carry some offensive weapon 24/7 on the off chance that they might be attacked. The question is too broad so the answer is no."

The question is not too broad at all, note the word "legally" which indicates some means of defence sanctioned by Parliament.

Regarding the kid in the apple tree, I'd let him have all the apples he wanted.

Bye the way, have you got some fixation against quotation marks?

How are you going on finding some reference to me wanting everyone to be armed?

Issy, you know full well, that under existing law, if attacked you can take reasonable steps to defend yourself. Do you support the existing law?

I again ask how many of the victims we talk of here could defend themselves
Even if they had an eight shot shotgun?
And to what degree
Should that eighty year old, if able to regained her feet, have blown the head off her feral aracker

Paul,

Of course I support the existing law, stupid and inadequate as it is, but under existing law it is unlawful to keep anything for the purpose of self-defence, even non-lethal things; do you support the complete disarming of the citizens?

What have you and the Greens done towards disarming the criminals?

Belly,

If you'd download Grammarly or a similar FREE product you'd not post: "...her feral aracker".

Do yourself and the rest of us a favour and download.

Hi Belly, the aim of the gunnies in Australia is to get as many guns as possible into the community. These people rely on the financial support of the American NRA. The NRA's stated aim is "guns for all", regardless of the consequences. By putting guns in people hands, only results in them firstly, shooting themselves, number two, shooting family members, number three, shooting innocent people, and occasionally somewhere down the list, shooting the bad guy.

Many of the licensed gun owner have time and again showed their irresponsibility with guns. They just can't be trusted to do the right thing.

Issy, I completely understand everything Belly posts. An example of a "feral aracker" is that bloke down at your gunnie club with a loaded AK-47 pointed in your direction! Get my drift....Freedom of speech for all, down with the oppressors!
