SR,

Your sanctimonius finger wagging might have a chance of being taken seriously if you didn't your censorius admonishments to only one side of the political debate.

Paul, to whom I aimed the comment posts the same form of "humour" probably more than anyone else, and has yet to receive a single murmer of protest from the left whinge posters on this forum.

Foxy,

There are 1000s of construction and production jobs being sacrificed to stop Adani, and the standard cry from the left whingers that the jobs are going to a flood of Indian, Chinese, French workers is bollocks.

Shadow, your favourite scandal sheet 'The Daily Telecrap' has shown us to what level it will stoop in another pathetic attempt to save the Coalition from the looming political disaster.
After it all backfired Morrison tried to "distance" himself from what was a disgusting attempt to smear Bill Shorten.

How old is Murdoch? 88 hummmm!

SM,

A community legal service has urged Australia's
Consumer Watchdog to crack down on Adani for
misleading vulnerable job-seekers with inflated
claims its Queensland mine will create 10,000
jobs.

Land Council of Queensland found Adani had inflated
its figures by almost 700%.

The company advertises a one day "mining induction
course" for $650.

It might all be bollocks to you - but its a gravy
train for Adani.

Paul,

Considering you are the only commentator on what the daily telegraph writes, it appears that you are more fond of it than I. As I cannot recall ever posting a link to it I assume that you calling it my favourite is just another example of you lying through your teeth.

However, as BullShtn claimed loudly that his mother sacrificed her career to put him through a top private school, was yet another porky on his part as the DT claimed she retired as a top barrister.

Foxy,

Opening a mine has two stages, 1- the construction in which up to 10 000 jobs are created in the community, and 2- the running of the mine in which the numbers are reduced closer to 1800. (incl supporting roles)

For example on a project I completed recently the number of construction workers numbered up to 1000, yet the number of workers running the plant decreased to about 200.

If the community legal service tried to refer this to the consumer watchdog, they should go back to law school as this has bugger all to do with the consumer watchdog.

SM,

The land Council of Queensland has said that
Adani has inflated its estimates by 700%.
It also no money - its reputation
is bad. Tha banks won't touch it.

In any case of Labor wins the election - and it is
predicted that they will. Labor has said that they
will look into all the aspects, listen to the
experts, and than make a decision on the mine.
This sounds fair. I'm sure you will agree.

SM,

You're forgetting the multiplier factor, that 1800 jobs in one project can create up to three times as many flow-on jobs, teachers, shopkeepers, nurses, building workers, tradesmen,, transport workers, etc. So on Adani's post-construction figures, this project could generate more than five thousand varied, permanent, jobs.

And Indians would have relatively clean coal. Win-win.
