Phil, The Daily Mail has been widely criticised for its unreliability, as well as printing of sensationalist and inaccurate scare stories. it is viewed by many as a mediocre publication at best, appealing to a mass readership by being rather liberal with the truth at times. And again I stress that is not to say there is not some substance to your claims. Any illegal violent behaviour by any individual or group, and how the authorities deal with that behaviour should always be of concern to the community. Possibly some politicians, assisted by certain commentators and publications, are contributing to the problems when we would be better served if they offered positive solutions to what is a difficult situation. Do you agree? Do you have a solution of your own in mind?

CM ABC is Australia
In some areas still the only way farmers stay in touch
A symptom of the very right seems to be silencing any view they do not like
Less charitable will ask is it Fox OR Government driving the anti ABC crowd
More importantly polls stand tall, and in my view ask this question
Is the Trump like very right aware the plan is not working
Can you blokes continue to forever insult even your own voters with views few will ever share

The ABC should be defunded. CM The Spell Nazi might be chasing you for the invention of the word "defunded".
Well Belly these guys would much rather watch the likes of 'Beat Up' Bolt on Murdoch channel than be subjected to quality reporting by the ABC.

Its numbers, of watchers is not near the ABC s
In time to come, this year, we will see the LNP questioning its right faction
Post Trump, likely to be this year America too will question its tea party right, and the Trump even further right
What however will the supporters of the straw house far right think of supporting the very thing that sank their party,s

The ABC should be defunded?

Not going to happen while intelligent,
thinking people still exist in our
communities.

What we need more of is good media in this
country. Good media is good for democracy.
A wider and diverse media, less of a monopoly,
by one ownership -
less narrow-mindedness, less ownership and
control by the same foreign interest - such as
the American Murdoch Press - News Corp.

The ABC is ours. It should remain ours.
