No Loudy...

What I am saying is that there are some bits in the Bible, that if true, actually could point to a more accurate birthdate of Jesus , but the Christian religion for money's sake and the fact that Christians aren't Christian totally ignore.

They don't really give a damn about accuracy or Jesus they simply follow Paul's lies.

Luke 2:8 And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night.

It is highly doubtful that the shepherds were in the field in the depth of winter as the sheep were taken in to protect them from the harsh winters in that area. So the birth probably was between spring and autumn.

Now late Autumn would probably be problematic and early Spring would be problematic so let's select Mid Autumn to Mid Spring for safety.
April through to October. You can't get any further away from December 25th...lol

Joey and Meg went to complete the Roman census and the Romans wouldn't have held the census in the middle of winter probably. Luke 2:1-4

Now Jesus was allegedly crucified near Passover as the last supper was allegedly the Passover meal. His ministry lasted about 3.5 years...then he gave up on humans...lol

So he was probably born mid-Autumn which would be around late September... Meg was told that Jesus would be conceived through artificial insemination (lol) in John the Baptists mother Lizzie's 6th month.

But the Calendar is also wrong.

The Bible tells us that Herod was still alive when Jesus was born. Herod died probably between 7BC and 2BC.

This error was created when a Catholic...Dionysius Exiguus miscalculated the year of Jesus' birth becaue like most believers he didn't know his Bible and forgot about the verses containing Herod's name...lmao :)

So Christians love Jesus so much that they, in their ignorance and for the reasons of money for reliigions, celebrate his birth on the wrong day and in the wrong year...lmao :)

Jesus' Birth Continued...

Seeing they have everything wrong...Perhaps the Holy Spirit that supposedly flows in them makes them a little more dense and continually wrong than us others?...lmao :)

They really are a sorry bunch of no hopers...lmao :)

So now I am saying we should celebrate all Christian's birthdays on June 25th in the middle of our winter and get their ages and years wrong to let them experience how poor old Jesus, (the forgotten one), feels about baby Jesus stories and the falsities these believers have been tricked into believing.

SO when you add these pathetic failings in their knowledge to the fact that they believe horrid lies against GOD in the Bible you really see why falsehoods taught as truths are not a help to humanity but a hindrance.

As they believe the Psychopaths and liars that wrote the Bible..they deliberately and intentionally choose to believe GOD condoned of and sometimes committed infanticide, rape, murder, animal and human sacrifice, ethnic cleansing, war crimes, torture, incest, Mosaic Law - (Sharia), stoning, slavery , oppression of women and other atrocities.

Every version of the Bible says GOD did!

Somehow with their twisted logic and under-utilised brains they twist celebrating Pagan God's birthdays and these horrendous lies against Sweet Baby Jesus and his father God...into loving and worshipping God...lmao

Aint proper Bible study fun!

Our festive season is a celebration of Pagan Gods birthdays NOT JESUS' BIRTHDAY!...lmao

Happy Birthday that we missed again Jesus...lmao

Hey we thought of you on those Pagan false God birthdays though...lmao

Merry Horusmas & Mithramas.

I hope you all had a lovely day being totally WRONG again!

Op2,

I would have thought that it wasn't necessary to believe in the details of purported incidents in the bible, but to just get the general gist of what it meant, what lessons each story illustrated. Nobody believes the Greek Myths today, nobody agonises over whether or not Zeus turned into a swan in order to have his way with Leda, and perhaps many Greeks didn't believe it in the old days, they simply took it as an example of Zeus' absolute power, what he COULD do if he wanted to. He was that sort of bloke, a bit like Harvey Weinstein.

Maybe people believed that God could have set fire to a bush if he wanted to, but probably didn't. He could have instructed crows to feed Jeremiah or whoever out in the desert. He could have instructed the whale not to start digesting Jonah. Stories which illustrate what god can do if he liked, he's got such power. And so on. Fascinating stories, with messages, for an atheist.

I hope this helps.

Loudy that's all fine but Churches teach the Bible as fact...You didn't realise this? The average believer believes these lies actually happened.

Are you saying that you are against Education by being happy lies are taught as fact?

They teach the flood happened, the Passover happened, in fact they celebrate the killing of all the firstborn of Egypt...

Who in their right mind would celebrate mass slaughter of innocent babies, innocent children, innocent babies still in the womb and then delude themselves to believe that they are nice people?

Doesn't he fact that the Passover never happened and that they celebrate mass murder only add to how crazy these people really are!

These misguided imbeciles do believe these things in the Bible are true and really happened so relating it to the Greek myths is nonsensical.

I hope awakening you to that fact helps you...

I'm thrilled you as an Atheist get great value from nonsensical lies...Politicians lying must give you a rush of blood just for the message...lmao

So what is the moral of Moses' teachings...As long as you lie and put the Lord said in front of things you can get away with all manner of atrocities?

I'm glad you get great inspiration from mass murder, and psychopathic commanded atrocities...I'm a bit above such things.

I do find your position on this as an Atheist rather weird...but hey you be weird as much as you want...lol

If teaching lies and myths as fact is OK from organisations that say they don't lie, and then, immediately lie by saying they represent the truth, is a positive for you...Keep smoking what you are smoking...lol

Hope you are having a Happy day after Mithramas day...lol

I hope this helps illustrate how ridiculous a position you have taken on this subject.

Op2,

I'm not sure that I should have have to take on all the sins of the Churches, being an atheist: why should I be happy that what you call lies, but I would call stories, are being taught as fact ? I'm not the CEO of any particular Christian school system, let alone all of them.

Can you understand that many ancient stories may over-state the goodness, the brutality and awesomeness, or the evil, of various actors, in order to make a point ? It's called 'hyperbole' or apocrypha. If you believe that anybody believes any of the stories literally, you really are flogging a dead horse. But if it feeds your ego to attack fairy stories, have a go at Little Red Riding Hood, and what it may have meant .......

No, religious belief of any sort may not inspire me particularly, but I'm aware that, by fortuitous and indirect pathways over many centuries, ideas may be initiated and, then over time, evolve into a completely different dynamic from the religious foundation from which they initially sprang - and just as often, they may be rations to, or contradictions of, some Church edict or priestly assertion. That's how knowledge progresses, after all.

Moses ? Is there any evidence that he ever existed ? Or does it matter either way, since it's the Commandments which have been more important to believers. Personally, I prefer the Adam and Eve myth to the Moses and Commandments myth, free will rather than blind obedience, which, to me as an atheist, is the lesson to be drawn from the fairy stories. Myths provide lessons: only small children worry over the truth of the details.

Loudmouth...You have lost the plot and need to do a survey of believers and what they believe literally!...The churches teach literalism every week! Stop deluding yourself.

If they don't believe the Passover happened why do they celebrate the Passover? If they don't believe Noah's flood happened why do they all still say it did?

So you think the story of Red Riding Hood is on the same level as the Bible? Did the readers of Red Riding Hood conduct the inquisitions? Did women get oppressed because of Red Riding Hood?

How many buildings have been built in the name of Red Riding Hood?

You need to wake up you are being senseless.

So analysing the detail of stories in the Bible is pointless? How did you decide they weren't true without analysing them? Did a fairy at your house wave their wand and suddenly you knew.

Your arguments are illogical.

So let's get back to some more intelligent studies of the Bible rather than arguing with an atheist who is lost in his own confusions...lol

I used to like Atheists for they simply just didn't fall for the lies.

The worst Atheists have thought about God is...Sorry I don't see the evidence believers claim.

Atheists don't see any evidence that God drowned all the innocent babies, children and babes still in the womb in a flood that never happened.

They don't blame God for all the atrocities in the Bible.

They don't falsely accuse God of all the lies against God in the Bible.

They probably still have Christmas but aren't celebrating any Pagan God's birthdays wrongly. They probably just use it to celebrate their families.

As can be seen by this thread the Pharisaical Paulian Religions and other Abrahamic religions have everything wrong!

They are the ones spreading the lies against God and yet they think that is honouring God..

They are mindless indoctrinated souls who simply aren't smart enough to see what they are doing...lol

Back to Little Red Riding Hood Loudy...You need the intellectual challenge to understand that isn't the Bible...lmao
