OP2 is not disproving the bible, he/she is trying to prove that their morality is higher than that of God. Unbelievably arrogant and no doubt totally deceived. Still not suprising when you have been handed over to the lie that we came from slime. Slimey theology and god denying is the very obvious result.

That’s right, mhaze.
<<Previously you said you looked FORWARD to my discussing it when it came up. Now you're talking about the past discussions.>> Because your response suggested that it had not yet come up (or that you had at least not seen it come up yet). A few months back, there was quite a flurry of such discussions with the mentioning of taqiyya and such. I’m sorry you missed it. <<So you're looking forward to me discussing it in the past!!??>> No. Regarding the Bible and the Qur’an, I would agree that a viable path to reformation of Islam appears to be far more difficult and would require more mental gymnastics than simply pretending that Jesus came to chuck out the Old Testament when it’s inconvenient and contradicts the sometimes-contradictory teachings of Jesus. <<Hersi Ali calls for Islam to adhere to the Meccan Koran and reject the Medinan Koran and that would be good for Islam and the world. But how Islam gets there is unknowable. How does Islam reject and/or ignore half of its texts, and the most recent half, and remain Islam?">> That’s a good question. I would recommend ‘Islam and the Future of Tolerance: A Dialogue’ with Sam Harris and Majid Nawaz, where they discuss precisely this, if you’re interested. Preferably the audiobook, where they go into further discussion based on questions which readers had after the publication of the book. Posted by AJ Philips, Monday, 4 December 2017 11:36:05 AM

Op2,
Worship is admiration of a person: are the people in your life whom you admire and praise so insecure you have to give them praise. No you wouldn't do that. It is obvious you do nor admire or praise anyone just desire to undermine their security. Posted by Josephus, Monday, 4 December 2017 3:47:28 PM

OMG! For the first time I will have to agree with Runner and the other Pharisees here...The Bible is destroying the Bible not me....lmao
The invasion of Jesus' religion is complete with the Pharisees having taken it over completely. Paul the lying Pharisee gutted Jesus' work and all the nodding dog believers just fell into line. They don't follow Jesus... they follow Paul! And what are the results of following Paul? No-one who follows Jesus can oppress women! http://www.abc.net.au/news/2017-11-23/clergy-wives-speak-out-domestic-violence/9168096 or Rampant child abuse and the covering up of crimes... No-one who follows Jesus can cover up the crimes of child abuse. http://www.abc.net.au/news/2017-02-06/royal-commission-into-child-sexual-abuse-begins-in-sydney/8242600 That's what you get when you totally ignore the horrid crimes committed by the religious against humanity. That's what you get when you follow a book and don't comprehend the horrors within! So how many people here still attend a church or denomination which has covered up child abuse? How many people here still go to a church or religion that teaches Paul and thus approves of the oppression of women? Oh all of you! No protest...No problems...No future worries... All's fine and dandy? You have Bible characters getting away with all manner of evil and yet you can't see it! Jesus must be so proud of you all! So much for Do unto others... You are failures! But worse you have failed to protect Jesus' religion from the Pharisaical attack by becoming one of the Pharisees. Jesus left a pretty sound system and you guys have butchered it! The trinity doctrine is anti-Christ, the teachings of Paul are anti-Christ and the actions of men against women and the oppressing of others are anti-Christ.. If you want to see a talking snake... go look in the mirror! lmao CONGRATULATIONS! Posted by Opinionated2, Monday, 4 December 2017 4:16:27 PM

Op2,
"So how many people here still attend a church or denomination which has covered up child abuse?" Well, I for one because covering up child abuse is not a teaching of that church or the religion of which it is a part. Are you going to leave Australian society because members of that society have been guilty of child abuse despite it being against the laws of your society?
