Reviewing ABC short series “Changing Minds”, my review is the documentary is better than nothing, as behind scenes post narration fails to provide explanations on why patients are causing themselves to be hospitalised. Attending professionals are seen attending patients yet rarely explaining problem issues. Myself remembering only one occasion does a psychology physician describe how a patient is chemically imbalanced, thereafter failing to describe what was meant by chemically imbalanced.

On August 23, 2017, 'The Drum' provided approximately 12 minutes of discussion related to teenage suicide and self-harm. Discussion is more awareness, mentioning parents reluctance to discuss suicide with their children, worried parents will “plant an idea” of suicide on their children.

Blaming “social media amplifies” as a problem, soon takes over panel discussion. Primary school aged 11 to 15 boys self-harm awareness: primary school bullying; being gay… suggested solutions: “suck it up”; focus parent awareness attention on starting the conversation with their children.

No psychology practician were panellists or were any psychology theories mentioned. Panellists were: one communication title, remaining panellists were unqualified to comment journalists. Collected released statics were the bases of early discussions.

Monday morning August 28, 8AM, ABC News Breakfast: began with an aged 3 years-old girl shooting death “shot dead”, “not my baby girl” together with several minutes of described tragic details, an eye witness description; Sydney shooting; Victorian aged 17 teenager shot; US flooding confirmed 2 dead, blamed on Harvey; 2 stabbings on the Gold Coast; more than 100 people killed in Myanmar violence; German woman dies, Barcelona toll rises to 16... headlines eventually get to Bavarian town holding ox races every four years. Under that heading story “Qld police investigate two stabbings on Gold Coast”.

ABC broadcasters are well-aware school aged children/teenagers watch ABC morning programs before heading off to school.

Media: violence; drug raids; suicide; self-harm; depression... Shakespearian deprived of all knowledge murder story distractions.

Discussion: ban all memory-bending-suggestive media murder/violence news stories before 9AM.

Serious: crime stories; politics; North Korean firing off missiles; ISIS middle east war... are opportunities to run short same limited ideas past human brains one after the other, mentioning place names. Listeners are not needing to spend increased time to remember detailed facts before the next short news story becomes apparent, quick running stories together with pointless images, often people are seen walking in or out of a named location building. The speed and listeners personal irrelevance to rolled over stories being presented, hurries human intelligence to ignore attempting to remember anything more than single judgements, having been presented by known people, further simplifying knowledge.

Movie and series drama stories have provided much of the missing details stimulated assumptions into human subconscious memories, I suspect news media stories remind human Neanderthal intelligence limited formulated memories reinforcing memories while having enjoyed watching movie and series drama stories.

Bored out of their brains by school work tasks and/or continued unemployment, unsatisfied, purposeless beliefs, youthful Neanderthal intelligence whom desire to venture off to join ISIS, subconscious memory prompts made conscious are turned on by risking their lives fighting in distant wars, induced by updated news media short clip presentations of gun shooting middle eastern war conflicts. Doesn't take much ISIS Internet propaganda to persuade Neanderthal decision makers to partake in ISIS persuasions.

Media and school learning day after day childhood life behaviours containing no real defined purpose other than rising from bed after being prompted by an alarm clock, readying the self for a day of boring school work; left to distract from boredom, to entertain the self by communicating with children of the same age whom are often expressing poorly thought out likes and dislikes, reinforced correctness by a stimulating rewarding sense of holding other children's attention, gaining approvals.
Does Social Media deserve the credit for increased suicide rates due to bullying online? A comment that social media merely amplifies what already exists in society, that being a concentration of short irrelevant knowledge, meant to hold populations ignorant on what maybe really happening behind closed doors.

An idea to let children be children, down side problem issues are that adults act like children. By placing children together in classrooms and noisy playgrounds, limited intelligence fears and stimulating dominance beliefs, personality rewards, guides behaviours into fluctuating chemical imbalances driving irrational behaviours. ABC Changing Minds indicates a small number of people whom have exaggerated behaviours, I suggest many people suffer from, due to irrelevant knowledge to life problems, children left to their own degrading circumstances, parents too busy to care, deciding an easy choice to do nothing.
Parents whom have gone through school education have learnt to acknowledge learnt helplessness, that complaining to teachers that work tasks were overwhelming them, teachers merely enforced work tasks needed to be done, conditioning student beliefs that complaining was pointless.

After enduring: 6 hours, 5 days a week, 40 weeks per year for 13 years... coming home in a state of mental exhaustion, having suffered increased mental stress traumas, hurried, childhood curiosity is repressed to care whether to analyse events to form mature adult reasoning. Developing Homo-Sapien intelligence fails to progress, that learnt helplessness and knowing more years of the same has few alternatives, contemplating suicide becomes an easy way out viable choice.

As ABC Mental Heath Week programs are shown, few people will care to venture into taking any notice as programs I suggest were produced with intentions of punishing viewers curiosity.

Media action scene stories: news Middle East war/murder story descriptions; television murder investigation series; movie fight/killing action scene climaxes; Harry Potter magic... are I suggest the most stimulating subconscious memory awareness entertainment dysfunctional fixation compared to alternative repressing school education killing child curiosity.

If by conditioning probable curious for detailed relevant information audiences to ignore wanting to understand detailed selective criteria: primary causes of mental illnesses; teenage suicide; fraudulent bank behaviours; real Homo-Sapien intellectual thought... media creating rambling awareness, journalists understanding of Shakespearian plays, avoiding relevant information comments and question awareness, instead focusing audience attentions on poor decision making abilities and dysfunctional personalities. Introducing such Shakespearian ramblings to young children. School children fed short sentenced irrelevant to complex thought reasoning information while feeling hurried to remember often teachers spoken instructions whether students are ready to hear and/or read to understand, finding quick assumptions of understanding what's being meant, rewarded by relief of having not to think about detailed conclusions.

Listening to morning breakfast news programs rolled over: murder stories; New Horizon and Casino space probes; same interest rate finance news no changes, housing bubble warnings; sports results... becomes rewarding for children to feel remembering names of famous people, front bench politicians and journalists. No need to think past short sentence statements. Listeners are not aware they're listening to the same shallow minded moral opinionated stories and/or court up in self-rewarding their own intelligence, having confirmed remembering names together with simple ideas, never preparing themselves to move awareness towards more complex ideas.

To those bored with rolled over simple ideas, media providing boring to listen to programs. If I were to suggest to people to listen to The Drum, I believe most every person would complain, expressing disappointment at my suggestion. Walking away having expressed something else needed to be done.

I suggest, even the most intelligent high scoring university achievers keep themselves so busy as to block out years of repressed learning memories, expressing theories which are difficult to argue with, exampling “are there life in outer space”, merely to avoid having to be corrected and/or listen to thought provoking conversations. As society's new generations stumbles through problems being unable to think, only capable of scanning memories for quick answers, confused by no easy solutions, delaying decisions until feelings of better ideas becomes apparent.

I suggest programs similar to ABC Catalyst should be ignored. I theorise such programs were developed to deprive viewing listeners of ideas to which future engineering problem solving, media programs aid no further intelligent memory awareness. That soft/simple language skills used to describe Catalyst topics provide few added complex language skilled memorable descriptions.

Alternatively, when I was aged 14 years, I requested from my parents a soldering iron. Having obtained soldering equipment, I saved my allowance, purchasing electrical components, assembling 2 valve amplifiers. I pose: saving money; choosing; buying; assembling... even though a lack of correctly understanding how electrons pass through components, hands on work decision making would be a far better learning experience than classroom lessons.
School education deprives children opportunities to express trial and error creativity. For centuries, what the Catholic Church was trying to repress intelligent thought creativity, school education and media Shakespearian story telling does now.

Mental illness: depression caused by hurried simple classroom processing tasks, punishing curiosity, inducing learning disability repressed memories, often determined as worrying; gambling addiction poor ability to ignore emotional decision making; lack of experience to predict future out comes resulting in consuming addictive drugs and lost wealth through gambling; knowing when to complain that forced school education tasks introduces mental traumas, repressing memories, punishing long term desires to enjoy carrying out thought provoking employment tasks.

School curriculum education task exhaustion together with rolled over media story entertainments, deprives child-like curiosity towards experiencing independent from school work experiences. Participating in simple competitive brain chemical inducing sports becomes an easy pass-time.

As children have few opportunities to experience out of classroom memorable behaviours, other than getting ready for school, coming home from school. Opportunities to witness and/or partake in well understood violent behaviours, when life becomes so depressing, that having gone through depressing school education bullying by: parents whom expect and/or want school work done; teachers expectations; fellow students group dysfunctional socialising; Internet social media... a sense of learnt hopelessness/helplessness that life will continue on similar paths, constant media gun violence/murders/suicide stories prompts limited awareness solutions. The solution of change by not attending school education, going on a long holiday, without being burdened with forced schooling tasks, losing out on whether years of similar tasks will provide rewards, no such alternative solutions exists.

I refer to Japanese school children committing suicide within a few days before going back to school, after having a long holiday break.

My constant theories that school is responsible for most suicides and mental health issues, not merely because classroom tasking has little incentives to think, that outside classroom behaviours children and teenagers exhausted mental behaviours and repressed angers, media violent subconscious stimulation rewards are played out on other students in playgrounds and on social media.

Sports merely becomes opportunities to witness violent contact: grabbing; pushing; tackling... mind games competition sports are too intellectual, resembling prompted by teachers activities to be considered as recreational activities.

Texas USA has a large population percentage whom believe god is a magical creator, providing believers with god given benefits. Listening to Texas pastor Joel Osteen, god has a set course for every devoted to god believer. After Texas has experienced many years of low rainfall drought since 1981, indicated by an Alan Kohler chart shown on ABC evening news August 29. Now Dallas Texas is experiencing floods. I theorise, Texans whom are experiencing stressful moments caused by flood rains, given an idea that god doesn't exists shown by years of drought, broken by record rainfall flooding, added fears of being wrong, being duped by preaching pastors, fears being felt often believed as incorrect will guide believers to believe in god with increased devotion.
The lack of experiencing independent thought, moments of independent contemplation have since childhood, been hijacked by religious feel good simplistic self-rewarding conclusions of wanting to understand bible babble magic, often reinforced by parents.

My suggestion that children shouldn't believe in anything until children age out of Neanderthal emotional decision making behaviours. Long hours of classroom tasking should not begin before children have abandon favouring feel good behaviours over sensible long term beneficial rational argument understanding. Once experienced rational thinking children feel they're being overly mentally stressed, children realising the differences between favouring emotional decision making due to being stressed and Homo-Sapien reasoning, persistently complain, avoiding long term mental illnesses.

Recently ABC Compass ended a 3 part series entitled 'The Staffroom'. Teachers were seen in short sentence scenes talking to teenagers in several schools. Media interviewers can script teachers answers to what producers require citizenry to believe. In similar situations interviewers can ask many questions, camera image on interviewer during questions, camera on interviewee during replying answers. Editing can edit out teachers least positive replies, using many teachers asking each teacher the same questions, editing questions and replies so only one teacher is asked one of each of the questions. In the end watchers are left no wiser than before series programs began.
Once more program information became personal, program information focusing attention on personal history and ability beliefs, irrelevant to student education beliefs. The program The Staffroom was about teachers not students.

With all the many media panel discussions on mental health, knowing teenagers suffer extreme mental anxiety leading up to HSC examinations, does any media bother to suggest asking teenagers particularly of the lower grades, what their mental anxiety opinions are?

I suggest if Diana had her full name and title mentioned every time her name was mentioned, I speculate Diana would not have obtained her popular supposed interest by the not so very intelligent citizenry.

A close examination of The Mona Lisa painting shows a poorly painted bleary background, I expect, excuses are by creating 3 dimension background being out of eye vision focus. They certainly get too much work from a young age.

University doesn't work for most people, i.e. no job at the end of it for the qualification you spend years getting, so the frustration has to bubble up eventually and one can only hope it happens in high school and the student doesn't have a full breakdown... because if it happens early in the working life the stress of house prices can just get too much and then marriage breakdown and possibly children losing parents happens etc...

Citizenry childhood of: classroom; playground; sports field... culture of competing against similar aged students, being the only opportunities to feel purpose by winning, repressing classroom: boredom; confinements and hurrying mental stress... self-boosting brain chemical endorphins. Minimum 13 years of schooling, feeling periodic superiority as a winner, and/or feeling a loser, being bullied, swinging emotional repressing childhood life of bad feeling memories, building up over many years could lead to mental depression, in future, triggering PTSD.

Children finding learning to read difficult I suggest aged 8 years children are doing so after having experienced force learning practices, that children not being able to grasp memories quickly, remembering learning traumas begin mounting up, trauma awareness being reinforced every event on being forced to read something.

Earlier this year on hearing a British expert on Phonics, came out to Australia to promote Phonics as learning to read method mentioned ideas (inspiring me to remember) that 300 individual group letters sounds could be taught. 300 sounds memories for aged 6 years children would be too many to teach when merely getting same aged children to remember 300 words in picture form would begin children reading, children working out more difficult words, knowing how letters can be worked out by knowing what picture imaged words, letters have sounds.

Solving parents complained problem about children's poor reading skills, opens up other education department methods used since the beginning of letters having sounds, thousands of years ago, letter alphabets replacing symbolised picture images.
Schools switching from remembering image spelling method to another sound spelling method as solutions to poor childhood learning. My assertion being Phonics will open another practice of government childhood psychological mental abuse.

As a recent documentary indicated, alphabets were designed to replace symbol picture image communication, allowing anyone to read. The problem doesn't lie with which method, as reading maturity soon realises letters red in picture form, intelligent children will realise multiple letters have sound patterns, figuring out difficult words.

My concern is that parents and teachers will force onto children a rushed need to remember picture symbol letters as sounds, turning sounds into words, many children are still figuring out how to use difficult meaning words in general conversation.

The excuse of solving poor literacy by introducing old ideas, my assertion being the problem is children are learning to control emotional intelligence, what to do when faced with unknown situations, what emotional fears not knowing what to do fears persuade solutions reducing fears, providing optimal solutions.

By placing young aged 5 and 6 years children into hurried environments before children have solved many not knowing how to act, how to respond correctly, learning to read only to be fed fairy tale murder stories, establishment further increases fake story redirections, confusing child-like intelligence, into my constant accusation of education holds children as Neanderthals preventing children from developing Homo-Sapien intelligence on their own unmanaged by adult prescribed experiences.

First day of school, teachers divide children into classroom groups, A to whatever number of children for each class label letter, placing the academically best potential children in A grade, whom parents are teachers and/or of some management employment, determining whether young aged children can read, having been taught to read by their parents.

Not surprising to find the most disruptive children in the lowest grade, allowing disruptive children to infect each other with Neanderthal emotional desires. Placing worst behaving children with more worst behaving children, children never being able to correct their own behaviours. Adding academic mental stress, depriving poor behaving children thought productive time opportunities of solving poor behaviours.

Children on first attending school having been baby sat by television's fast moving commercials, fast action good verse evil cartoons, compared to younger age slow moving do little puppet cartoon programs. Third choice being morning news and talking over each other information entertainments.

My criticising many fast spoken programs: The House; News and Current affair... programs provide no real face to face communication, other than “Neighbours” dramas soap opera understood themes. No incentive to quickly understand what may be happening on programs or in family life, as repartition will fill any gaps children may be missing, children can remember.

Children on attending school must sit and listen to a single teacher whom often shows children tasks only once, that children then repeat what a teacher asked children to do many times over.

Young children with poor handwriting motor skills, asked to write down alphabet letters, before many children can slow down fast physical hyperactive memory skills.

Other than pushing pens, the only physical tasks provided to children are often ball movement Neanderthal incentive driven sports.

My suggestion, first few years in school has more to do with verbal interaction communication between students, how to act between one another about ideas related to one another. Media often talk about leader behaviours many dysfunctional behaviours drive media entertainments. Behaviours are not what to do rather than what to do. Curse words enter conversations limiting detailed expressions, indicating limited time to think out why responses can't be rationalised. Conversations lack why people become overwhelmed by unexplained emotions and beliefs. Why people believe in a magical god yet can't reason out why no god could exist nor if a god did exist, why would that god be listening to believer's prayers.

Why people test their emotional memories for indications of fear or pleasurable desires deciding beliefs, before testing rational seasoning on reasonable probability, asking for further evidence before leaning towards believing or deciding disbelief.

Such Homo-Sapien learning decision making skills before caring about reading proficiently, I believe is far more important. Once children choose a behavioural pathway of emotional Neanderthal behaviours, thereafter persuading a rational behaviour pathway, merely comes difficult, having been hurried into deciding many simple behaviours self-rewarding intelligence with brain chemical stimuli.

I pose that reading words being solely a visual recognition behaviour, reading is simple. What represses reading behaviours are traumatised memories of teachers and/or parents forcing too much reading too quickly too soon before children can reduce dependence on Neanderthal early age physical movement learning.

Neanderthal intellectual intelligence reading of information merely confuses comprehension, leaving readers to read simple to understand: murder; describing physical movement; Harry Potter... book readings. Neanderthal university students need to remember individual procedure facts rather than Homo-Sapien complex concepts, Homo-Sapien thought easy realisation awareness need only to apply concepts to a wide variety of tasks.

Aged 5 and 6 years children would be better served if they were asked to do line dancing, teachers politely instructing young children on how seeing mistakes and correct performance emotional awareness is directing their own physical movement. As movement falls into place, being aware of fears and correct judgements desensitises need to feel knowledge.

Once children using feelings of fear, not easily understanding academic tasks, many hours of mental exhaustion punishes wanting to read anything, determining they don't like school work. Long term memories are least desirable to except school work. Periodically asked to do line dancing feeling physical rewards for performing line dance tasks correctly, academic work tasks are least likely to be remembered.

Teaching profession relies on difficult to teach traumatised children, allowing society to need more teachers. Deliberate Sabotage.

I know a person whom says he has an A grade class school education. He claims year 9 LAPLAN tests determining academic writing skills, skills should have been learnt while in primary school.
Maybe education departments should give primary teachers LAPLAN tests, to determine whether teachers are failing to teach basic literacy skills.

Media, particularly television require no tests to determine whether listeners are paying attention. Program name “Are You Paying Attention”. Human memories are not required to take notes to an over supply of useless information media provide. Much the same information applies to school work, that all sentences adds up to nothing worth remembering. Tests are merely determining if students can do the work, rather than whether students can think based on collective information. Media murder stories are little more than personal information which adds up to nothing, at final end of stories important clues are mere few words stated during stories.

Analogies, could be that schools over task while under inform what tasks are about, leaving gaps in why students perform tasks. Sabotaging actual learning by denying students rational purpose teachers and educational departments in fear students actually learning how to learn correctly, students no longer needing school teachers.

Teachers telling young children once, having justified themselves as teachers. Students whom heard yet weren't correctly shown what to do, carrying out school tasks as though children have the intelligence of aged 6 years children. Year after year being graded little better than as aged 6 years student task performers, deliberate sabotage.

The many aged 7 years children diagnosed with ADHD hyperactivity, slows academic task memory learning, hyperactive behaviours are repressing learning traumas, learning traumas being normal human learning behaviours not to do tasks which shouldn't be done. Many more children not being diagnosed with ADHD are also using similar tactics in repressing learning traumas due to teachers being forced by education departments to force memory tasks onto young children not yet mature enough to think how best to remember academic tasks.

Holding citizenry dumb/misinformed has with religion by redirecting intelligent thought pathways has been going no for thousands of years.

All media: technology talk; medical DNA stem cell research; investment in batteries holding electricity; power stations; companies buying power poles; business programs introducing guests talking as though markets are real, moving forwards... are all part of the Ponzi scheme information redirection. Companies buying power poles, are buying excuses to raise prices on something counties' citizenry can't avoid paying for. Billions of dollars used to purchase poles was no doubt on paper financed by superannuation funds, looking for dividend rewards paper investment justifications.

Citizenry's savings, buys our own employment, that wage inflation allows indebted consumers to borrow more money financed by citizenry savings. Eventually all the bad paper gets sold to fall-guy investment companies and/or Neanderthal share holders.

As share market companies rise and fall, I suggest selective companies share prices are rising drawing in investors with the aid of broker recommendations and investment articles, periodically recommended shares drastically fall, removing wealth from trusting Neanderthal investors. Feeling intelligent Neanderthals being as Neanderthals are, can't often conclude intentional manipulation.

Neanderthal traumatised intelligence in need of chemical self-prescribed medication easily leads teenagers into self-medication drug taking, beginning drug addictions.

Media refuse to link using prolonged discussions, long hours of classroom mental stress create long term mental illnesses and self-medicating learning trauma drug addictions. Obvious to myself, difficult to convince already educated citizenry why they refuse to conclude similar conclusions.

Countries domestic airports and commercial airlines companies, I suggest immigration has much to do with people flying back and forth between counties of birth visiting relatives and counties of employment. Companies are generating paper profits, supplying various services: legal; visa; transportation; money transfer commission percentage charges; tax accountancy; etc., transportation rather than industrial manufacturing redirects that advanced first world counties run Ponzi scheme economics.

Companies on the other side of the world offering employment to people, having employees periodically visiting home for various reasons, transportation is driving capitalist world economy Ponzi schemes.
