the abc/regressives got their man Turnbull to backstab Abbott. The regressives still could not vote for him thus giving Hanson power. Luv the irony. Now Turnbull should he have the audacity to stay on (part of being a regressive) will have to lean further to the right.

*not long after they will be surprised to find the island conducting a referendum to exit the commonwealth.*

Well I'd be happy if they gave Tasmania away, so they stop sucking on the WA tit to keep afloat and finally learn to stand on their own two feet! We send 4 billion a year in GST alone to the East and land up keeping around 30c in the Dollar. Much of that money is what keeps Tasmania going. So please leave :)

It is well known amongst any intelligent voters and political commentators that if the holy, mad Abbott was still in charge of the Liberal ship, Labor would have romped it in.

As it is, the sobbing Abbott lovers (mad far-right tragics) spat the dummy big time and supported crazier people like Pauline Hanson. She could easily be Donald Trump's long lost older sister....and we all know how his campaign is slowly decomposing in the US...

Oh dear Susie I suppose you think you are one of those ' intelligent ' voters. You certainly do fit the regressives mindset where you actually really believe your warped arrogant narrative. All those 52% of dumb brexit voters. How dare they go against the high priests of Islamic immigration, the gw scam and bigger useless bureaucratic institutions. The reality is that most regressives rely on Government for jobs. They are unable or incapable of real work despite their degrees.

Yuyutsu, it's not the international trade agreements that were disastrous for SA, it's the government's sustained economic (mis)management in general. Our interest rates and the value of our dollar have been set too high for SA, and the government has not run a big enough deficit to compensate for that.

SA used to address that problem by setting wages lower and ensuring the cost of living was lower to compensate for the lower wages. But the state government's influence on the cost of living has declined, while the Commonwealth's supplanted much of the states' powers on industrial relations.

And before anyone points it out, yes of course I know the government doesn't directly se the value of our dollar any more. But they make the policy decisions that result in the market setting it too high, and they could use a sovereign wealth fund to reduce its short term value but they choose not to.

//She could easily be Donald Trump's long lost older sister//

Not really, given that Hanson is 62 and Trump 70.

And that Hanson is the world's least convincing female impersonator. He really should wear a scarf or something to conceal his jawline - it's a dead giveaway.

I think what you meant to say was that he could easily be Trump's long lost little brother.
