Paul,

"Desperate times calls for desperate measures, right Is Mise. Was that an attempt at a funny my boy. Trying to present a piece of satire as truthful news."

Just a piece of satire, for which I gave a reference, but a piece of satire that hits the mark; given time some Green will think of it and it'll become Party Policy.

Prominent NSW Green, Lee Rhiannon is the NSW Vegans' president and patron. Rhiannon is an animal liberationist. She is very unhappy with the culling of camels in central Australia, where they are in large numbers, destroying the environment.

Given that lightweight Shoebridge and other NSW Greens are 'Whatever she says' where Rhiannon is concerned -she is top dog of the 'Watermelon Greens'- it is very possible that the sausage would be under threat with the NSW Greens.

Of course the comfortably-off Greens like the taxpayer-funded Rhiannon and Shoebridge would have other alternatives in the restaurants with big plates and small servings that they can afford (and probably taxpayer-subsidised too), but the humble 'surprise packet' sausage has always been an affordable source of protein for those on low incomes and pensions.

Paul1405, you should be looking to protect your sausage, meatballs too, where the wild Rhiannon and her sycophants are on the loose.

is Mise, can't you come up with some original material of your own. I can't see the name of your favorite super hero Lance Boyle on the ballot paper, but its good that Bob Ballsup from the Shooters and Hooters is doing his own version of Colonel Custer and fighting till the bitter end! The Indians are circling. Cop that Shooters and Hooters mob, they have 4 different names Shooters and Fishers Party, The Fishing Party, Motorist Party and The Outdoor Recreation Party, they don't know if the want to fish, hunt koala's or do doughnuts in the dirt, or all three at once, can they make up their minds. Done some pre-polls this week, the Shooter and Hooter bloke made colonel Klink look serious.

Beach, again you and Jim seem to have dogged it, no show again, I advised you to nom yourself for Newtown, where are you? The Goose Steppers providing the comic relief

Paul,

Here's some original material, originated by the NSW Greens, this from their "Principles",

"7. That personal protection should never be regarded as a genuine reason for owning, possessing or using a firearm."

Now I would read this as an attempt by the Greens to subvert the law which allows a person, in genuine fear of their life, to use any means available to save that life.

Would the Greens deny a stockman, injured in the bush, the means and the right to save his life from feral pigs that are closing in on him, getting ready to eat him?
Would the Greens have him prosecuted for using a firearm to protect his life.

Of course they wouldn't, nor would any sane person; the question then is "Are people who can write such poppycock fit to sit in the NSW Parliament, where, one would think, a command of English would be a basic requirement.

Perhaps 7. above has a different meaning, if so I'd like to hear it

Dear Is Mise,

State law doesn't know if you are crazy
Cross-eyed, True Blue, or simply hazy
You may just be a weird right-winger
A patriot with an itchy-finger
But that's the reason you can't buy
For protection or for fun
Any mother-loving gun.
