Foxy,
The Coalition have a good lead in the polls, and Labor should pull back some of the disaster of 2011 (16% swing) they can't afford not to. I agree with the commentators Baird will be returned with a reduced majority. The interest for me is with The Greens, there is a new seat Newtown which we have a very good chance of winning, Labor are the main opposition, Jenny Leong has run a strong campaign for us. The Liberals are not in the hunt, particular with their 'Westconnex' road earmarked to disgorge its toxic mass in the middle of the electorate. The Liberal candidate and the its like in near by electorates all failed to front voter community forums a big no no in politics. A lot of interest in the Legislative Council vote, where the there is no majority. The Greens have 2 up for re-election John Kaye and Mehreen Faruqi there are 21 vacancies, we have a very good chance to pick up a third spot. Posted by Paul1405, Thursday, 26 March 2015 6:45:57 AM

Dear Paul,
I've got members of my family who are avid supporters of the Greens. And they too will be watching the NSW election closely. As I said previously - I wish the Greens all the Best. Hopefully they will pick up more seats. Posted by Foxy, Thursday, 26 March 2015 12:18:47 PM

Hi Foxy,
The reality in our democracy is without the dollars, you are very much handicapped when it comes to getting people elected. Plus the system very much favors the big two. So with TV ads and almost all the news coverage along with the big spend, the Labor/Liberal mob will pick 90% of the seats with 70% of the vote vote. I am an avid supporter of proportional representation. If you are following the election tomorrow keep an eye on a mystery mob calling themselves 'The No Land Tax Party' they have candidates in all 93 seats, and the upper house (the luck b's drew 1 on the ballot paper), they have been throwing money around like confetti, don't know where its coming from, (paying backpackers (who have no work permit to distribute their stuff). http://www.smh.com.au/comment/black-ops-and-skulduggery-attaches-to-singleissue-parties-20150325-1m7gwq.html Posted by Paul1405, Friday, 27 March 2015 4:32:16 AM

"The Australian Greens have today called for the immediate banning of the traditional election day sausage sizzle, saying that it is highly insensitive to vegetarians and the phallic nature of the sausage is intimidatory towards female voters....."For too long voters have been forced to endure children trying to foist a sausage on people as they line up to vote, the smell of burning dead animals is horrific and then you’re confronted with this giant phallic symbol, it’s too much ...."

Desperate times calls for desperate measures, right Is Mise. Was that an attempt at a funny my boy. Trying to present a piece of satire as truthful news.
One who must be very nervous with this election is Bob Ballsup the incumbent candidate from The Shooters and Hooters Party. Like all previous one issue parties The Shooters and Hooters have outlived their usefulness, assuming they were useful to begin with, and they were not. Poor old Ballsup is staring down the barrel of a gun, from the wrong end, and looks likely of being blown away by another one issue mob in the shape of the No Land Tax Party. The Shooters and Hooters Party failed to gain any kind of a preference deal with anyone even the Free Cheese Party failed to warm to them and now poor old Bob Ballsup is on his own! It appears that Mike Baird is popular in NSW and
two polls suggest that the Premier's Coalition
government is set to survive a swing against it
and hang onto several key seats to return to power
after Saturday's election.
The Coalition is ahead of Labor 54 per cent to 46 per
cent on a two-party preferred basis. It will be a close
one. However as one report pointed out there has been
a approx. 10 percent swing against the government.
It will be interesting to see how well your party does.
I wish it well.
