Dear Is Mise,

I hope that you're wrong.
I hope that our influences and those of the
moderates will prevail. I think that the social
conditions in this country are different from
those in the Middle-East and other trouble spots.
Anyway, the following link may be of interest:

From Foxy's link,

<it is worth recognising that a significant number of Australians have problems accepting Islam as a legitimate part of the Australian social landscape. As the inquiry’s report notes, in 2012 the Scanlan Foundation found that one in four Australians hold negative feelings about Islam. Fifty-six per cent of respondents to a 2011 Essential Research poll said they were concerned about the number of Muslims living in Australia, with roughly half saying they felt ‘very concerned’>

That being so, it makes a mockery out of any pretence that Australia is a democracy. There is nothing wrong at all in Australians saying that they want their culture, traditions, system of government and legal system that have served them so well, to be preserved for their grandchildren.

What is going wrong is that there is an elite of self-styled politically left 'Progressives' who have decreed that they always know what is best and democracy is inconvenient to them. The 'Progressives' are skilled in manipulating the media, but fortunately elections are still part of the landscape and allow the citizens to regularly have a say who should be in the big house in Canberra, even if the political parties pre-select yes-man (and yes-woman!) career politicians, and between elections it is all 'Never you mind'.

When will Australian citizens ever get to vote on the 'diversity they have to have', but other countries do not?

Foxy, a very good post indeed, I totally agree with what you say.

Is Mise, I think you are homing in on a very valid point. the intolerant aspect of organised religion. Many adherents maintain an over riding belief in the correctness and infallibility of their beliefs. Combine this with political power and influence in decision making, and yes indeed you have a recipe for disaster. I think we are well short of that position in Australia. Foxy's article goes a long way to present the true position and not the Islamophobic position white supremacists and fundamentalist Christians would portray.
Australia is still very much a secular society. This is something we should jealously maintain.

Belly asked; "Foxy Paul evidence exists to prove some who came here over ten years ago have never worked.
Do you approve of that?" No of course not, but apply some balance. What does it prove, that not all migrants are desirable, take in 100,000 people and some will be duds.

Paul1405, " What does it prove, that not all migrants are desirable"

Few argue otherwise. However the Australian electorate is demanding that government be proactive and never again do what that maudlin fool Malcolm Fraser did when he disregarded the advice of his own Departments of Immigration and Foreign Affairs. I believe that belly is referring the the problems that resulted.

Some people cannot recognize who / what is an enemy and when an enemy is in the camp. Secular Democracy is in direct conflict with Islamic Shari'ah theocracy - they cannot coexist. One will destroy the other.

israel convicted of War Crimes:
http://rinf.com/alt-news/editorials/gaza-life-and-death-under-israels-drones/

Because of the bias the International Criminal Court in The Hague demonstrates in its selection of cases to cover, the Kuala Lumpur War Crimes Tribunal was established by former Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad in 2007 to investigate war crimes.

“The perpetrators had committed acts against the Palestinians, with intent to kill, cause serious bodily or mental harms and deliberately inflict conditions of life calculated to bring about the physical destruction of the Palestinians as a whole or in part.”
http://rinf.com/alt-news/editorials/israeli-police-state-lawlessness/

“These are universal crimes for which there is a responsibility upon nations to institute prosecutions. The Tribunal deplores the failure of international institutions to punish the State of Israel for its crimes and its total lack of respect of International Law and the institutions of the United Nations.”

mark Zuckerberg Is Grandson Of David Rockefeller? Real name. Jacob Greenberg?
http://philosophers-stone.co.uk/wordpress/2012/05/mark-zuckerberg-is-grandson-of-david-rockefeller-real-name-jacob-greenberg/

Ok so this Greenberg / Zuckerberg thing is getting weirder by the second.

A Jacob Greenberg was arrested for possession of Marijuana and this mugshot was taken. It was later revealed that this could indeed be the man the world knows as Mark Zuckerberg.

His family members include David Rockefeller, his Grandfather. A little strange because Rothschild owns 8% of Facebook shares. Both Rothschild and Rockefeller are well known names….TAP with One World Government associations.

and his other granpa….greenberg…CEO of AIG

TAP – Facebook was funded with $500 million from a CIA owned bank, which was a bit suspicious. I wonder if Google has similar disguised progeny.
