In addition, Laban was thrice/related by marriage to Abraham's family: his sister Rebecca married Isaac, and his two daughters, Leah and Rachel, both married Jacob. Thus Laban was Abraham's great-nephew, Isaac's cousin and brother-in-law, and Jacob's uncle and father-in-law. We first encounter Laban..welcoming Abraham's servant Eliezer when the latter comes to Charan to find a bride for Isaac... hint hint A generation later,..Isaac...and Rebecca send their younger son Jacob to Charan to "take a wife from the daughters of Laban,..*your mother's-brother." yes/joshifuss it seems..a white wash just/like this <<..the terminology and notions..that are involved/in the debate over Palestine..and expose once/again..the deceitful nature..that is unfortunately intrinsic..to the contemporary/progressive discourse. http://www.gilad.co.uk/writings/concealment-and-truth-in-palestine-and-beyond.html Zionism – Palestinian solidarity members *are required to avoid the ‘J’ word and to use..the word 'Zionism' instead. "to refer to Zion..when I really think Jewish so he..and I “might find grounds..for a lot of agreement….” The truth of the matter..is that Israeli *politics..has little to/do with Zionism. Israelis..are hardly familiar..with Zionist ideology, nor they/are concerned..or motivated by Zionist praxis. Zionism is largely a Jewish Diaspora/discourse that vows to establish a Jewish National home in Palestine..and to civilize..*the Jew..by means of nationalism. Israel is obviously/the product..of the Zionist project; however,.the Israelis see/themselves..as post-revolutionary/subjects *they transformed/*the Zionist dream..into a practical reality. Thus,..criticism of Zionism/per se..hardly touches Israelis or Israeli politics...If anything,..it actually diverts/the attention from..*the crimes that/are committed..by the Jewish-State..in the name of the Jewish people. why do/we..use the term Zionism..instead/of referring..to Jewish power,..*Jewish politics..or/the Jewish State? Simple:..we do/not..want to offend..the..‘anti-Zionist' Jews..and Jews..in general...We consciously..*choose..to/let Israel off the hook. Apparently/we much.;.prefer to target..a phantasmic/imaginary object that..means very/little..rather than simply..calling spade a spade. prefer..to conceal..their/our/shame. http://mondoweiss.net/2013/11/american-speaking-opposition.html http://www.activistpost.com/2013/11/is-history-repeating-itself.html http://soaspalsoc.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/SOASPALSOC-7th-Settler-Colonialism-2011.pdf Posted by one under god, Monday, 2 December 2013 6:40:08 AM

Belly,
The fact is various religions see different views of what the character of God is like. Each religious person acts according to how they see that ideal character. Even you yourself have a view of what is good character as represented by an ideal character. In Islam deceit is a virtue if it gets the person to accept the character of Allah as Mohamed saw him. Slaying the infidel is a virtue if it means giving your life for the cause of defending the character of Allah as Mohamed saw him. That is why Good Christians admire and follow the Character of God as Christ Jesus revealed Him; and those that call themselves Christian and do not live by that character must be condemned and repent. If you have better character ideals you ought to reveal them so society can follow that character. Islam recruits its followers by cohesion Christians should do it by lifestyle example. Daily Thought
The Power of Light We all know the power..of darkness—it is in the news..every day. A thousand times over..[that man-made/evil]..is the power of light. A busy person stopping..to do an act of kindness, a small child..reaching up to kiss the..mezuzah on the door of her room, a flickering candle..for Shabbat or Chanukah— each of these..are as bursts of light..in the nighttime sky. True, they rarely appear/in the daily news. or/the..minds..of those blinded/in..darkness But the darkness of yesterday’s news will pass like the shadows of clouds..on a windy day. where is thy pain..see the joy..in today Light endures forever,..accumulating with every mercyfull living/loving..flash,..one/by-one..until no room is left for darkness to hide. http://forum.onlineopinion.com.au/thread.asp?discussion=6040&page=0#176858 his psalm admonishes 1. For the Conductor,/upon the eight-stringed instrument, a psalm by David. 2. Help us, Lord,..for the pious are no more; for the faithful..have vanished from among men. 3. Men speak falsehood to one another; with flattering lips, with a duplicitous heart do they speak. 4. May the Lord cut off all flattering lips, the tongue that speaks boastfully- 5. those who have said, "With our tongues we shall prevail, our lips are with us, who is master over us!” 6. Because of the plundering of the poor,..because of the moaning of the needy, the Lord says,.."Now I will arise!" "I will grant deliverance,"..He says..un-to him. http://forum.onlineopinion.com.au/thread.asp?discussion=6098#176065 The Lord is my allotted portion and my share; You guide my destiny. 6. Portions have fallen to me in pleasant places; indeed, a beautiful inheritance is THY-ne. 7...I bless the Lord..Who has advised me; even..in the nights..my intellect admonishes me.8...I have set the Lord before me at all times;..because He is at my right hand,[left-in mind]...I shall not falter. 9...Therefore my heart rejoices and my soul exults;..my flesh,..too, rests secure...[impure/for..sure] http://forum.onlineopinion.com.au/thread.asp?discussion=6040&page=0#176858 10...For You will not..abandon thy..soul to the grave, You will not allow..Your pious self to see purgatory. 11. Make known to me the path of life, that I may be satiated with the joy*of Your presence,..with the bliss of Your right hand..forever. ahhhh/men I am..will..to/be sated..by Your I'm-age. I see organised religion like cigarettes, both cause cancer in society. As for banning, if I could wave a magic wand and both would disappear I would not hesitate. Unfortunately we live in the real world where magic wands are in short supply. Like cigarettes the world is stuck with religion, and so are we. Both Belly and Is Mise if given the power would ban Islam, Belly posted "I too think the religion and further Muslim Migration is harmful to us." but they also see things in practical terms as well. Even if I accept Islam is a hateful religion, and I'm not an expect on that, but since I categorise all religions as harmful, I accept that it is. Like Christianity is harmful it does not necessarily follow that all adherents are harmful, a minority are most definitely a danger to society no matter what religion they follow. The majority of people, despite religion are in my belief basically good and the idea of a blanket ban is nonsense and impractical. Many migrants bring problems with them, some problems are religious based, others are of a more functional nature. As a fair and just society we need to deal with those migratory problems in a realistic way. All sides of politics realise migration has been, and still is important to Australia, and it is a mark of our maturity as a nation as to how we deal with migrants and their problems, and how we implement what is a complex migration policy. Any notation of a blanket banning policy against one group or another is far to simplistic and the reality is it can not be justified or implemented. It is also unrealistic to think that Australia will only attract migrants who will simply fit in, skilled, well educated people carrying suitcase full of cash, such people are not beating a parth to our door.

I wounder if we can address the question you asked again?
Yes I have already said banning the religion is not possible.
Not here not in its place of birth.
But why?
Like the Christian Catholic Church it swims best in the waters of the very poor.
I suspect it shares some less than good things with Catholics.
But again, every time any religion is spoken about this question must be asked
*Why should we, those who do not believe a God ever existed have to pay/bend/even be ruled by one*
If we can just stop saying my God is better than yours, stop funding Churches of any faith and the schools they all *indoctrinate* in we would take the first step to becoming one humanity.
