Hay Luddy, do you still think Carr is a good one.

He doesn't think labor was cunning enough for gods sake. Cunning! Now that is just what you want from your politicians isn't it.

I've always maintained he was one not to be trusted.

Thank our lucky stars he was only interested in power, & not some sort of service to the community, or we would have had the cunning bugger for 6 years more, ripping us off in what ever "cunning" way he could come up with.

Must admit it is nice to see such loyalty among the Labor colleagues.

Hopefully with his idea that they could get back in power at the next election.

Hasbeen, if the nasty word 'cunning' is the only word you have to condemn a Labor pollie, then you mustn't have to many worries!

Speaking of condemning a pollie from his own mouth, Tony Abbott has continued on with the litany of lies about the Don Randall Cairns affair, as reported by The Age this morning.

Tony told the reporters:
""The gentleman in question [Mr Randall] tells me that ... he went from Perth to Cairns to have some very important discussions with the whip," Mr Abbott said. The whip at the time was Leichardt MP Warren Entsch, whose electorate takes in Cairns."

Apparently this MP Entsch can't recall what any of this '...very important discussion...' was about.
So...Tony condemns both himself and Don Randall with yet more lies about Liberals taking liberty with taxpayers money...

Some of the above disappeared into the ether. The last sentence should have read.

Hopefully with his idea that they could get back in power at the next election, his predictive ability will prove as accurate as Belly's predictions about Abbotts imminent demise.

I thought Carr corrected himself and said canny.
Politicians are cunning as a matter of course, a few are canny, not many.
Right now there are few one could trust or admire across the whole spectrum of politicians in Canberra.
I am not too sure how anyone can take sides when it comes to the current crew.
Dreadful situation we are in when it comes to our leaders and representatives.

Has been it was a slip of the mind over the tongue. Most pollies from both sides think this way. We are their tax and debt bitches. Stop voting for the major parties who take corporate money.
