This comment by Tony Abbott in Parliament demonstrates again his poor judgment. He by innuendeo is aligning himself with Alan Jones' comments about Julia's indiscretions being a major factor in her father's death.

There is no doubt that Julia Gillard lied to us ie, "There will be no carbon tax under the Govt I lead." in order to get elected, but personal attacks of the ilk of Jones have no place in political debate, nor should Tony Abbott try to profit from them.

Simply put, it was a poor choice of words by Abbott. He should have chosen words pertaining to integrity, fidelity, truth etc but not aligning himself surretpiciously with words that even Alan Jones now regrets.

Be careful when you are near Tony Abbott. Not only is he a misogynist
among other things but, according to Tanya Liverstick he has been breaking the place up (parliament....I must have missed it)..and now he is going to blow it up!! So we have Pinochio Gillard and Guy Fawkes Abbot....

The speaker has fallen on his sword, despite the governments attempts to keep him in the role and his emails were so indecent that the contents can't be shown on ABC television nor printed. Surely they were not worse than Alan Jones comment? Is anybody going to start a petition to have him lynched? Come on, all you left wing feminists, get it organised.

Arjay I agree, and have been waiting for this day for a very long time.
Remember I am not a Gillard supporter, not even a follower.
But she turned this in to a clear and brilliant win, over the real Tony Abbott.
In first defeating the Kangaroo court attempt to sack Slipper.
Then the well placed word in his ear that bought the only exeptable out come.
Abbott has introduced a harsh period in our politics.
It may take a generation to remove it.
Say anything oppose every thing, has never been a policy long term use will be excepted by voters.
I believe SOME Liberal front bencher's tainted by it, are near the end of their life in politics.
Too that Turnbull not Abbott, is a shoe in for leading Liberals to the election, and win.
Gillard, the one of recent weeks, has done well.
But she can not win ever.
She has lost the trust of far too many men, forever.
Turnbull,s rise is not automatic fall of Gillard.
Self interest put her there, self intrest, not party interest keeps her there.
However well done Julia, you in the end, beat Abbott and his rosy cheeked mate AJ hands down, well done.

Belly obviously a word in the ear is worth two texts in the hand.

Gillard has copped the appropriate lambasting from the Australian press this morning over her obvious support for Slipper over recently stated moral issues. But the international press has described her support of the flawed Slipper as a victory over Abbott……the Fabian fifth column at work in the foreign press no doubt.

A link would have been nice, havnt seen the news for a week or more, but all I can say without seeing the link, is that one hot day doesn't make a summer.

A the end of the day this is all about words, respect, or lack of in some cases, BUT, no amount of words, good or bad will fix the illegals problem, which is the one thing most people are livered about, because before labor came to power, there were no illegals to speak of.

We had a country that was beaming with confidence and anyone who wanted a job, had a job and had money to burn in most cases, as the word 'underemployment' had not been invented back then.

Oh, did I mention MONEY IN THE BANK.

For some reason these words of Abbott were removed from my heading."This Govt should have died of shame."

Labor have to go since they are the worst in living memory but the Coalition also need to smarten up their act too.
