Greens? come bloke they are road kill and this country better for it.
I must mount the stump yet again.
On behalf of true Labor followers, swingers who do not want to vote for Abbott but see no choice.
Gillard has in my view won the war Abbott the rabid rabbit and Rosy cheeked Jones have been running for more than a year.
Such is the pain and hurt, yes bigotry too, against a woman Prime Minister.
The deliberate lies, even in Parliament today, that carbon price saw electricity prices rise 70 or even 80%
Some, too many, buy the lie.
Gillard could not win a raffle.
Some, unwilling to say *we got it wrong*
Bank on our fear of Abbott.
WARNING, he will not lead if the election is full term, now! is the time for Labor to act.
How can any one, discount the words of Abbott and Jones? how are their words less because of what some one else said.
HOW can Labors Caucus leave the hopes and dreams of that night in 2007 to die at Gillards feet, we can win an election but not with her.
Me? not bigotry just an understanding, she has not got what it takes including trust.
It took till today, to take an open opportunity, to prove a months long lie, that carbon tax took prices up by 70% or more.
A good politician would have done that day one.

Right now there are new parties popping up all around Aust. Both the major parties support Agend 21 of the UN, which means poverty and enslavement for most of us.

These new parties need to come under one umbrella with a proper constitution that cannot be corrupted or over riden by foreign forces. We do not have real sovereignty or democracy and that won't happen unless we all get involved in the political process.

So forget about the left v's right paradigm, since both parties use this as a means of divide and conquer. On the really important issues like our financial independance, taxes and war, both parties agree. They both use side issues to confuse the electorate and keep us divided, thus conquered.

'But I do expect the alternative PM to have a bit more up top than to parrot the week's most notorious line as some sort of opposition trump card.'

It's piss funny. I truly believe this was a mistake, a slip of the toungue. Apparently he has used the phrase about 17 times this year or something.

The scary thing is that he keeps saying these kind of things, the guy's a time-bomb.

I find it fascinating as I said. For someone so often end up saying THE most crazy thing under pressure. He gives new meaning to 'brain explosions' they go on about in the NRL.

It's like Bazil Fawlty continually mentioning the war to the German guests I reckon.

Unless it's a brilliant ruse, and he is able to take off the microscopically fine line where people cant quite believe he would have said something that stupid deliberately, so getting it out there but making anyone calling him on it seem like the one who is being outrageously ungenerous and petty.

Perhaps he knows exactly, better than anyone else, the doubt line that he can get the benefit of. In any case if that is true he's a crazy time gambler.

But as I said I reckon he's just accident prone.

Or maybe it takes so much energy to hold himself back, these things just sneak through, and in a subconscious way he wants them too regardless of the political tactics and the fallout.

Abbott Abbott Abbott. The successful father, husband, Rhodes Scholar. Everything that the 'progressives ' hate he is. He could get them to like him by divorcing, turning gay and supporting to murder of babies. What a warped society.

Hang on a minute... or as Arte Johnston might have said, ""veeeery interesting".

If "the timeline of this episode is as follows...

Gillards Father dies
Abbott states sincerely in parliment how proud her father must have been of her
Jones makes the comment"

Does this mean all the brouhaha is because Alan Jones thinks Abbott is wrong?

Robert, can I be a mysogynst when I am female? There are many women I admire, but Gillard and her aggressive feminist followers are not among them.

The only one I do admire is butch., perhaps that is why. She seems to have more commonsense and is restrained when speaking..
I was brought up in a dyed-in-the-wool labour family, but have since become a swinging voter.
ASnd I hope this labour party keeps Gillard as pm until the next election, because this time I will definitely be swinging right..
Libs could do better than Tony though with his tendency to let his tongue run away with him.
