I know a person who has worked with AJ.Yes he's is very arrogrant like many at the top of the dung heap and will not suffer fools or incompetence lightly.

Jones to his credit constantly takes Woolies and Coles to task about their cartel powers. He is one of the few who attacks the coal seam gas industry and reveals the lies of global warming. This makes him a huge target of the left and industries who want to profit from the new derivative called the ETS and the Carbon Tax which feeds it.

All is not black and white.Be careful of what you wish for, since the real tyrants control both Labor and the Coalition.

Shadow Minister,

It was actually the the wife of Mr Bowen who (re-)tweeted that remark and Bowen addressed it on radio this morning.

I still maintain that the level and degree of personal attacks on Gillard are far in excess of anything done to either Howard or Abbott but, considering what they did to Rudd, Latham, Keating and Whitlam - smear has always been the typical conservative strategy.

The old political maxim has never been more true -

"If you don't have the facts, argue the law.
If you don't have the law, argue the facts.
If you don't have the facts or the law, call the other person names."

Wobbles,

Firstly, wishing cancer on someone is far worse than implying your father died of shame, secondly, re Tweeting something means that you agree with what's said and you send it out as your own.

There are plenty of cases of left wing journalists saying far worse things about Howard and his ministers and the present opposition with not one hint of condemnation from any labor minister. It is just that the Left and Labor are immediately outraged at the smallest slight.

wobbles I'm guessing the second comment on this thread, the one by yourself that now reads "Deleted for abuse" was an example of the reasoned non-abusive comment that you favour. Yep its all those nasty conservative types who lower the tone of debate, never your side.

Shadow Minister -
"There are plenty of cases of left wing journalists saying far worse things about Howard ".
Far worse? Examples?

R0bert.
A pity you never got to see the "abusive comment" - it was an observation about Jones himself and the Young Libs. For what it's worth, it was less abusive and offensive than Jones' comments have been.
