Much better.
I give you a hard time here because I think a lot of your assertions are a little absurd, but you're certainly right to voice what you think. As for the Lusitania, at least you raised something refreshingly new and under-discussed. Whether or not the poms wanted it sunk is an interesting question. It was carrying munitions, it was listed as a potential warship, details for its protection were bungled in Pythonesque style ... they might as well have painted a target on it. It was a sitting duck, and certainly a very useful PR tool for the Brits. It also helped to lure the Americans into the war, though they dithered about for a couple of years before joining. And bin Laden ... I don't believe that he has been long dead, and I don't think America will win any friends as details of his summary execution continue to emerge. I can't bring myself to say that ANYBODY - evil or otherwise - deserves to die, and I was a little sick in the stomach when I saw the headlines proclaiming that justice had been served. In a way, I think the whole War on Terror has been a terrible real-life reenactment of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, and in Frankenstein I always felt a little sorry for the monster. Not even the Yanks deny that they contributed to the creation of this beast; they fuelled its hopes, dreams and revolutionary plans; then, when it was no longer of any use, they cut it off, allowed it to turn against them and sought to kill it. I can't and don't intend to condone anything bin Laden and his followers have done. I will never say that the Americans deserved what they got way back in '01, and I can't say that I empathise or even sympathise with Al Qaeda. I can say, though, that it is my belief that nothing from the beginning to the end of this sorry saga has anything to do with justice, integrity or any of those values we in the West hold so proudly. Arjay in your rant about the start of ww 1 you got as close to truth as you ever have.
About a billion light years OUG bloke I stand by my right to be different than you. Try folks not to be fooled. Any thinking human knows America lies. The same surely can be said about any government in the world, hence Weakileaks. In just Pakistan, just one nation, more lies murders and contemptible acts are committed on any day, than in Americas whole history. America murdered this man? So what? Are we blind to those he killed/will be killed in his name. Can we ignore his death will unleash thousands of deaths , no fair play in those murders This world is not ruled by any God, if it was it would be Her/Him we should charge with war crimes. Our fate is in our hands, this man bought death on innocents, I will not engage in how or why he died. But I will say thank you America, the world is a better place. It is all our interests to stop the expansion of the wars.Belly, have a talk to Kevin Bracken. He is one of the few Unionists who has the courage to speak the truth.Jon Faine will not be inviting him back for his requested debate on 911.Faine is far more articulate than Kevin yet he won't debate him on the truth.

My personal view is that Al Qaeda is a CIA invention. The Bin Laden family had financial dealings with the Bush family. After 911 the Bin laden family was the only ones allowed to fly anywhere. They flew back home to Saudi Arabia.
