Pelican with that I agree.
I had in the back of my mind the understanding it would not be long before some say he is not dead
Honestly this junk will grow an in time we Will hear much abut just how it is a front.
As believable as saying the twin towers fell victim to CIA plot.
Some lie some are fooled and some are just fools.

Yabby if you and the others looked at the link you would have realised that Jason Burke said that they could not find evidence of Al Qaeda in Afghanistan. The name Al Qaeda is an Arab slang word meaning toilet.Hardly a name they would choose for an terrorist freedom fighting organisation.

You PaulL and Pericles have consistantly refused to look at the hard scienticfic evidence that abounds, proving that it was impossible for such and group tp pull off such a coup. The best you all can achieve is ad hominem.

Arjay, I know exactly what Jason Burke wrote in his book.
It is pretty detailed.

Sorry, but I don't rely on Utube for my information.

I did some skimming and it appears that 'Al Qaeda' translates to 'toilet' in much the same way as 'throne' translates to 'toilet' in colloquial English. Hardly damning evidence that Al Qaeda doesn't exist.

Seriously, though, are you simply stating that the BBC says Al Qaeda doesn't exist, or are you supporting this argument?

Furthermore, there's not much scientific about the 'proof' you have provided over time that Bin Laden's posse couldn't carry out the September 11 attacks. It's all conjecture, really. Like the time you linked to the testimonies of some pilots who said there's no way an experienced pilot, let alone a hijacker, could steered the planes into the Twin Towers. Their testimony could not adequately rebut the much more likely proposition that planes DID hit the Twin Towers, and that people - experienced pilots or otherwise - steered them there.

You can make all sorts of condescending comments about those of us who are stupid enough to believe the 'obvious' lies, but the reality is that our threads of logic - unsullied by excessive reading of conspiracy theories - tend to lead to far more feasible conclusions than those you offer us. Do we believe that governments tell the truth? I can't speak for everyone, but I can say that I don't. I'm sure that a lot of what we hear is masked by lies, equivocation, half-truths and glossings-over. I don't accept everything at face value, but I do accept the logic that my quite well-informed mind offers me.

Oh please Arjay. Keep it nice, will you?

>>The name Al Qaeda is an Arab slang word meaning toilet. Hardly a name they would choose for an terrorist freedom fighting organisation. You PaulL and Pericles have consistantly refused to look at the hard scienticfic evidence that abounds<<

Here's some "hard scientific evidence" for you:

"Qaa`idah" means "base," "basis," "foundation," "fundament," etc. with pretty much all the connotations those words have in English. It comes from the root referring to sitting down or descent (the same root as a common word for "chair"). It can refer to a literal foundation, to something fundamental in a more abstract sense (e.g., "qaa`idat al-lughah," "the basis of the language," refers to Classical Arabic grammar), or even to a naval base ("qaa`idah bahriyyah").

It can also mean "database." "Qaa`idat an-nusous al-qanouniyyah al-muta`alliqah al-hay'aat at-tashree`iyyah al-`arabiyyah" is "The database of legal texts pertaining to legislative Arab constitutions/conditions."

Spit the pips out of that, laddo.

Life is not meant to be boring.
With a genuine interest in truth and the world around us we can learn from any thing.
I find arjay great fun, not to be believed but to study just how far his posts are from reality.
Constant amusement is delivered by his insistence we who do not share his/her views are, uniformed or blind.
Right now the next great conspiracy is on the march, he is not dead,it was a filmed election trick.
He was alive in that shroud and bought back to America for interrogation and torture.
There I have started my own conspiracy.
