No *We are Unique,* whilst I do not dispute that there are families and carers in Oz who have quite the "extended families" the quantum and the scale is altogether different.

With out going into excess details which would be to initiate a new thread, I would cite as an example to evidence this that when I look from one end of the very long street in the abode of my wife's family to the other end, the what and who of what I see are pretty much entirely comprised of the family and extended family (including very close friends) and there are lots more further out, who by walkabout, word of mouth, sms and mobile phone keep integrally involved in one anothers affairs on an ongoing and continual basis, far more so than what is "generally" practiced here.

There is of course the huge difference in population, the size and proximity/design of their dwellings, religious and cultural practice etc, etc

This is of course entirely your own affair *Jinny,* so by all means you tell me to shut my mouth, f.o. (or whatever) and mind my own business

(though you may care to note that we are ALL here free to exercise "Freedom of Speech" and "Freedom of Religious expression," within the confines of the regulations of this place and relevant Australian law without risk of falling afoul of the "Executive Branch" of guvment,)

however, as a person who on a self professed basis is no longer entirely ignorant of the legal system in this country, if you indeed find yourselves in an uninvited legal situation, I offer unto you a "friendly" word of caution.

Legal action involving Immigration, Child Custody and Housing issues are all very serious and have very serious potential consequences. You may care to consider regulating your speech, manner and behavior in the interests of all members of your family unit, because

if you carry on in a Court of Law in a manner akin to the manner in which you express yourself here, it is likely i.m.o. that the system will come down very hard on you.

In my personal experience, there are better ways to learn than in the "School of Hard Knocks."

Further, I do not say that you must offer hommage or truly like and or respect the system, BUT I do say that you may care to consider "Playing the Game."

DreamOn: when did i say that? I appreciate everyones contribution here as they all teach me a lot of lessons. I am sorry if you feel that I said that to you. I mean no disrespect. Thank you for your advice. I will be careful. btw, I have no housing issues.. just money issues. N I'm working on that as well. The police took away my phone for more then 28 days and still does not want to return it for some reason that seems ridiculous by me. Legal aid and others have advised me that they cannot do this. But they are. Why? Should I just not say anything about this? Advice...

simply by loving others you get to heaven...

but from there..you need to pick other things you would love to do..[workaholics go largly..to hell][as they have no personal side]..[but as they love it..they wouldnt hear of us labeling it thus
