OLO is like a train wreck to me. I know I shouldn't look because I usually leave with a negative feeling

This whole thread is worthwhile just to read OUG claim "I don't rant".

In other news, the Pope has converted to Islam and bears are using latrines.

I'm always happy to have a rant. It's difficult to pick one topic, but I'll try.

People who push their own agendas by loudly spruiking one-sided biased comments.

The media is I believe the biggest offender. They manipulate public perception without giving the generally uninformed public the chance to see the facts and make their own decision.

So often, I have come to work and heard co-workers spout off the exact words said on the news the night before and claim it to be their own opinion.

Politicians are aonther. I have so much sympathy for governments. Every decision they make is going to upset someone. And there's the opposition ready to pounce and tell the public how bad the govt is, and they know it's not true.

What's wrong with a good old fashioned bit of honesty, and some common sense.

What's my rant?

I've just spent one glorious day out in the
Dandenong Ranges where it's still wonderfully
green and lush, enjoying the beauty of the
forest. It was good for the body and soul, -
to simply take time out...

"Don't be weary, don't be dreary,
Get up off the ground.
Look at all creation going round and round...
Now's the time to come and see,
What's been done creatively!"

Highly recommended... get out and about ...

Oh, and that if you actually vent after being invited to it follows you across the board to other threads for cheap shots. That sucks too.
