are in East Java for Holy Week but even at that distance got a scare.

I was woken up really early by the "Curry Bum Call of Montezuma"
this morning and was out the back on the decking under the new polycarbonate roofed pagola with ocean view having a cuppa and reading a legal document

(just recently got the tradies out who have done some good work - new fly screens, new garage, proper post box etc etc)

when it started:

The pagola swayed, vibrated and thrummed
- gaka gaka gaka gaka gaka -
for about 1/2 a min I reckon?

I could hardly be bothered getting up to head to the front of the hill to take refuge under a door frame
(I remember the one we had in Perth when I was about 10)

It was probably as good a safe "viewing" of the incident that you could get. Twas rather cool from my vantage point but it freaked and injured some people here I gather, who were in multi story buildings, and some jumped out and broke bones in so doing, though I have not as yet read the paper or checked local tv news for more succinct information.

I'm very lucky I guess and I shouldn't be so blaze but it was how I was thinking at the time. I guess if the decking had of collapsed under me and I had landed on my bum I would have been a sorry poppet. HaHaHa

A Rant:

Finally recognising the English Gay Mathematician,
and confessing their wicked inhumane treatment of him,
for his fantastic work in cracking the Nazi Enigma code during WWII is comendable.

We need people who are not so full of themselves as to be able to admit to their personal failings and short comings irrespective of the consequences with a view to moving on, evolving and doing the good for others as well as self.

see my coat of arms..is the head of the red deer...and so many booze merchants..are using my heraldic inheritance..[the deer head]..to promote drinking...

i should insist my patent right..to the head of the deer proceeds theirs...mine dating from late 1600's...and copyright patent law being based on heraldic preceedance..pre dates their right to the head

i made an issue about it when i reclaimed my deer head from the queensland coat of arms on supreem court staunchen..in front of supreem court brisbane...but wisely..govt didnt proceed with the case and dropped charges...[noting qld only had it as coat of arms only ..near 20 years]

EXAMINATOR- Perhaps your article did reach the right people because they ran a documentary on TV exposing the cruel problems that inbreeding for the purpose of showing dogs is causing to the animals a few nights ago. Heads too small for brains causing extreme pain and faces so pug the animals drop dead because they can't breathe.
It does seem as if the message is finally reaching the breeding circles and perhaps it is the beginning of change. I did note your article and I knew what you said was true but as I was in total agreement I made no comment. Perhaps I should have just posted a short note of agreement in support.
