Part 2
I challenge anyone to prove how that interpolates as better than thou?
In reality, I submit that it is the practical application of a deeply held commitment to humanism.
What I see is that some know their views are morally wanting but find it easier/more comfortable to shoot the messenger rather than self examination and may be improve things.
Where do I say I'm immune simply because I refuse to publicly wallow in my human failures. Choosing instead to publicly aiming higher rendering the indifference etc. unacceptable?
With that I temporarily retire from contributions

Belly:”TPP I can not make up my mind what you are on about.”

See why you’re my favourite?

Grim I have printed your offer out and it will stay in my pocket.[smile]

Exam:”We ignore and even justify our indifference to the plight of others with such gems as the rhetorically intended
'we're too busy', 'it's none of our business',' what can I do?', 'the law is an ass' and the most offensive 'it's because of X'”

Who is “we” white man? I just drove hubby nearly to tears reading over and over your last two posts. It’s like you swallowed a dictionary and are regurgitating it randomly. Dude, I’m a self confessed dumb arse but believe no one born without missing chromosomes could truly make sense of all that.

To reiterate: you are all too busy, you don’t make it your business, you can do nothing, the law is an arse (note; not a donkey!), it is because of X and you know it you wooses.

Houel! I so had that drink.[smirk]

examinator,

'tis undeniable, I suck at the above :-('

That's a cop out. I could just say 'I suck at being polite'. I just figure if you know the big words, you could easily try to make more sense to the average reader. You bang on about wanting to communicate and then sabotage the process more than I do with my joking around. If you are genuinely dyslexic, I apologise.

'no policeman, judge, jury could ever decide on any criminal. None of them are perfect either.'

See, you are putting yourself up as the police.

'Likewise, I doubt that you would be as boorishly rude at a dinner party where you knew few of the guests.'

Yeah but that's the whole point isn't it. I'm not at a dinner party, and I don't know anyone here. It's like a wall where people scribble graffiti. If you were at a dinner party, would you chime into other peoples conversations and correct their manners?

'is that what I'm really doing?'

It's how you come across yes. That's how it is, I come across boorish, you come across superior.

'I was raised with humanistic mentality that we are all responsible for what we do and WHAT WE FAIL TO DO.'

Failing to do something is still doing something. You have to do something else while you're failing to do something. Anyway, lighten up, it's just an opinion forum. Nobody will judge you too harshly if you don't recommend every second comment for deletion.

'In reality, I submit that it is the practical application of a deeply held commitment to humanism. '

So it's your religion to be a goody two shoes smart arse.

'their views are morally wanting'

And you wonder why you come across as superior?

'With that I temporarily retire from contributions'

Man that sounds so sad. Are you really feeling that sad, or is it just a passive aggressive victim thing? If you're really that upset, I'll give you a big hug.

Give me a hug, I have the worst headache. I can turn down a drink but not out the blue from old friends with duty free liquor in tow.

Most interesting fact of the evening – there are 55,000 unemployed in NZ.

And after everyone went to bed I just sat and I stared and stared at Examinators post, probably overreacted and put a ! where I meant to to put a ? but then got up this morning thinking I would do better today and maybe I am reading it wrong.

Sorry Exam, I can’t grasp it but I shouldn’t have been so insulting and believe it is me feeling dumb and then just being really snotty about it in the moment.

Piper,

Maybe they spiked your drinks! That's it, you've got an easy excuse now.

Hey I know this is really controversial, but I've decided I like Kiwis. My missus is a Kiwi, and I constantly laugh at the way she says hid (head) and I always type 'yis' instead of yes when I email her. And you're kiwi aren't ya?, and you're the only poster who I don't seem to piss off, and I find you amusing and entertaining.

I noticed the time you posted and was jealous I wasn't out drinking last night. But the Ashes starts tonight!
