Dear Horus,
Beautiful Tale. Thank You, I loved it! Dear Seeker, I read somewhere that, "If we don't learn to dream we are doomed to merely follow where others have already been. We are condemned to lead a second-hand life." Dear Usual Suspect, You might be interested in the following website: http://www.scienceblog.com/cms/old-men-chasing-young-women-good-thing-14203.html Of course the passage I gave in my earlier post could have been written about men as well. How could you even ask that? We're all individuals - and it all depends on the people involved. How they look and feel et cetera. We've also got enough exaamples of men that are not only dating younger women - but have married them. Famous examples like, Rod Stewart, David Letterman, Warren Beatty, then there's - Harrison Ford, Kevin Costner, and of course Bruce Willis, Hugh Hefner, Rupert Murdoch, Donald Trump, the list goes on. Pablo Picasso - imposed no restrictions on himself. Then there's the President of France... Putin favours younger women. Then, there was also - Pavarotti... It's a question of choice. And that's how it should be! I Posted by Foxy, Wednesday, 25 June 2008 12:08:15 PM

Dear Albie,
It is the mind-set and attitude that needs to be de-bunked. Not the 'Age.' I fully agree! Posted by Foxy, Wednesday, 25 June 2008 12:14:13 PM

Hey guys, that's a bit unfair. There are LOTS of incredibly attractive older men, who are successful, wealthy and have the intelligence and education to match. Interesting thread though,

I guess when your daughter one day becomes a sad old bitch, she will have to think of a suitable name for herself :) Posted by Yabby, Wednesday, 25 June 2008 7:55:53 PM

Just because one or the other in the relationship/act of procreation/sexual union...is older does not neccesarily import a greater knowledge.
I know several couples who are up to 20 yrs apart in age - the 'cougars' who are the basis of the topic being discussed, and they will quite freely admit their previous sex lives were dead. But have since learnt much from their younger partners, and vice a versa. In their own words _ "...we felt liberated from our pasts...learnt about another person and our own bodies in ways we never thought existed from our previous relationships..."
No it's not the "...age thing..." per se, and that needs to be debunked, but the mindset and attitude of being open and receptive to new ideas, and (for me) not being selfish about what is on offer.
Love is good, lust also is a healthy human element, but all in balance and moderation.
