So, some women, particularly rich & famous fading beauties, can have a mid life crisis, just like some men can. Rich, if not particularly famous, men appear also to be more subject to this behavior.
David, I'll bet that most, of these relationships, last about as long as they do, for most men. Posted by Hasbeen, Monday, 23 June 2008 12:17:06 PM

Dear Foxy
Haven't women come a long way since the disgraceful "Cat and Mouse" Act, despite "progress" taking some 95 years? http://www.answers.com/topic/cat-and-mouse-act?cat=biz-fin I believe it's as easy to fall for a younger person than an older one - just ask the male who's been doing it for eons. And who would desire a return to our Mum's era where women knew their place and kept it - or else! Posted by dickie, Monday, 23 June 2008 12:36:12 PM

"It just means these women are taking what they want...it's about time. Men have done it forever..."
Err Foxy, I can't see a problem in men giving women what they want, its just that women also want those difficult things like commitment etc :) Posted by Yabby, Monday, 23 June 2008 2:41:11 PM

Foxy: "'It just means these women are taking what they want...it's about time. Men have done it forever'...Any thoughts?"
Yeah, feminists have decried, ridiculed and rejected the practice of older men dating younger women for decades why should it become an acceptable practice just because women start doing it? surely big age differences between lovers are either acceptable or unacceptable irrespective of the sex of the participants If a practice is unacceptable when men do it surely it should be unacceptable when women do it and if it is acceptable when women do it surely it must be acceptable when men do it it looks like just another case of feminist double-standards:ie if men do it it is unacceptable if women do it it is fine and this is just another discrimination on the basis of sex and wasnt that what feminism was supposed to be fighting? for myself I dont give a toss one way or the other for either sex but at least I treat both sexes the same Posted by Rob513264, Monday, 23 June 2008 2:58:33 PM

- He has made a post which does not appear to attack Islam.
- He has made a post with no obvious lead in to an attack in other peoples morals or values.
- He has made a post with no direct call for us to change and follow his faith.
- He has made a post which recognises the value of love in a relationship.
- He has made a post which is brief and to the point post.
Individual posts from David often have one or two of the above elements but to get the lot in one go is significant.
It may have happeened before but if so it's a rarety and worthy of the recognition it deserves.
