Quite some rewriting of history here. It seems that the Trump peace efforts have bamboozled people like AC and Paul since Trump the peacemaker doesn't fit with their (mis)understanding of the world. So they've decided to rewrite the facts.

Thus we have AC dreaming of Iran destroying Israel before Christmas!! Wow. Iran who got thoroughly humiliated by the Israeli air force are going to completely reverse the tables with a few months. Quite the fantasy land AC inhabits.

And now there's a thorough rewriting of the history of Venezuela and Maduro. Bottom line is that Venezuela is a basket case because of their failed policies and were already a failing economy before the US started issuing sanction. Equally, the last election was clearly won by the opposition and, now Nobel winner, Machado and was stolen by what is now an illegitimate government. So the US efforts to oust Maduro aren't regime change but regime correction.

Still rewriting history to suit a failed world-view is something that some find comforting.

According to people of knowledge and good repute there is no legal entity called Palestine that can be “recognised” as a state; the international requirements for statehood cannot be met by the area described as Palestine. The requirements have been voiced, and they are readily available for perusal. The likes of Albanese and Starmer should have looked them up before doing their virtue-signalling “recognition”. There is currently nothing to recognise.

Something that is obvious, amongst the uninformed babble, is that although 100 plus countries “recognise” Palestine, Palestine doesn't have full UN membership because of America's veto. Given Trump's shellacking of the ‘recognisers’, that veto is likely to remain.

Given the ongoing problems stemming from the creation of Israel for a small number of people because of their religion, the Holocaust, and the idea that Jews would be safe - and how well it has (not) turned out - why do the same thing again?
