Hi Foxy,
"The Officeworks staff member is being re-trained which includes a visit to the Holocaust Museum. The gentlemen in question has been given $100 and a full apology from Officeworks. He is consulting legal advice." Absolutely appropriate, it was simply the action of a "renegade" employee. What further action is necessary, I don't believe there is any. Hi Paul,
Officeworks has discipled and put the staff member through a re-training program including a visit to the Holocaust Museum and they have also re-located that employee. The Jewish community has placed a ban - boycotting Officeworks. Posted by Foxy, Friday, 2 August 2024 2:56:28 PM

David Adler, President of the Australian Jewish Association, who describes the incident as “Nazi strategy”, reports that this is not the first time this Nazi behaviour has occurred at the particular branch of Officeworks.
Incidentally, the female doing the impersonation of Nazi, clearly said she was from Palestine, although she was wearing a rainbow lanyard. To add insult to injury, Officeworks is owned by the super-woke company WestFarmers. Posted by ttbn, Friday, 2 August 2024 3:42:02 PM

I believe that staffer was "pro-Palestine," not from
Palestine. Posted by Foxy, Friday, 2 August 2024 4:21:39 PM

Hi ttbn,
"One of their earliest discriminatory actions Nazis took against Jews in Germany before the war was refusing service to Jews in shops." Let me be clear. This is not about refusing Jews general service in shops. You'll notice I stated 'Buy a laminator and do it yourself' For me this is about refusing to 'laminate a newspaper that shows Australia is in solidarity with Israel' during a genocide. I'm not entirely sure what was on the front cover that the girl objected to, it was hard to make out. - Look at the video - As for NAZI's refusing service to Jews in WWII: Well to understand this mess, you have to go back to WWI, - Or even earlier in 1913 when Jewish bankers established the US Federal Reserve. If you need a better understanding about these events and what lead up to it watch this: All Wars Are Bankers Wars by Michael Rivero http://youtu.be/BrKf9nYeXT0 Now move forward to WWI. Britain declared war on Germany in 1914, and after some time they were on the verge of defeat. The Jews offered England a deal. You need not lose the war, we'll bring the Americans into it, and in return you give us Palestine. The Balfour Declaration is signed November 2nd, 1917, but the war doesn't end until the armistice on November 11, 1918. Germans were forced into much hardship and owed huge reparations after the war, and Germans were suffering badly. - There was huge resentment against Jews for this, and they were living quite well in hard times while the Germans were not doing so well. Enter Adolf Hitler. Newspaper Headline - March 24, 1933: 'Judea declares war on Germany' Jews of the World Unite. Boycott German goods. http://qph.cf2.quoracdn.net/main-qimg-9e64e5349fdb9643b9c3c46988bf399a Posted by Armchair Critic, Friday, 2 August 2024 8:08:03 PM
