mhaze,

Why do you delude yourself into believing America is based on freedom and democracy, total BS, it never was, and is unlikely it ever will be. Its based on Capitalist greed, both Biden and Trump are manifestations of Capitalists greed. You are fooled into believing the great lie. Biden is most likely a criminal, Trump definitely is a criminal. Corrupt criminal leadership of a corrupt criminal society. Trump is feeding you BS, just as Biden feeds BS to his supporters.

I've kind of reached the point where I'm not entirely sure it makes any difference who wins the U.S. election, and I'm not really sure I care that much which side does.

The problems have become so big neither side can fix them.
Just the existence of two opposing sides always in conflict at the expense of the citizens themselves may in fact be at least a large part of the problem.

In 2016 I'd already reached the point where I thought Democracts were unelectable criminals, which is why I supported Trump, because I hoped America could get back to the country it once was, but maybe I was foolish and naive...

But I don't really have any faith in Republicans to do any better.

I don't really give America the clout I did in 2016.
What happens there is less important now than it ever was.
I think more in terms of what's good for the world, rather than what's good for America.

Some of you old timers need to pay attention to some of the things I'm saying, instead of sticking to the 'tried and failed' you might actually pay attention to whats going on in the world, and the direction the winds blowing.

America is not going to regain it's former glory as an industrialised nation.
To do that, they would have to re-industrialise, and it would cost trillions, meanwhile capitalism goes where the profits are, and the West can't compete with the scale and cost efficiencies of China's production.

Armchair Critic,
Not parroting America would be a good start, starting with TV.

According to AC: "Trump will be maneuvered by Lindsay Graham and other neocons to continue the Western foreign policy that will end up in war anyway, should he succeed in getting back into the Whitehouse."

Well we do actually have a way of testing that. Unlike other candidates, we have evidence of Trump as president. Did Graham et al cause Trump to continue policies that will end up in war when he was first in power? Well anyone with even a modicum of historic memory will know the answer to that. The answer is no. Trump rather than following policies to start wars, did the exact opposite. Trump was the first president in memory to NOT start a war but rather ended others, downgraded more and was well on the way to ending others. Indeed one of the main complainants against Trump was that he DIDN'T follow previous US policy norms. But still the bozo bridage want to believe the memes of Trump as a warmonger and mere evidence and fact is the least of their concerns.

According to AC concerning Navalny: "The charges weren't trumped up, they were legit and he was guilty;"

I'd previous written "anyone with two brain cells to rub together who wasn't a Putin apologist," knew that the charges were trumped up to silence a potent critic. AC qualifies on both points.

I'm guessing in AC-land Bukharin was also guilty and legitimately executed....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cjtr6bm4ZOg
