mhaze,
You're such a perceptive poster. Not only that, your record on this forum speaks heaps for your credibility. You get things straight away and of course you're always right. You're just too clever. No wonder you're a Trump supporter - having so much in common. Far too clever for me Posted by Foxy, Tuesday, 4 June 2024 4:17:00 PM

"I've watched her on the "Insiders" program many times and her views have always been balanced."
Well, balanced in terms of the ABC. That is they tell the story from the point of view of the left and for balance they tell the story from the point of view of the far-left. This is balance as far as the ABC is concerned. http://youtu.be/K8y4Z-ZAhjw This is a storm in a teacup. Everyone knows that the left considers Australia racist. Especially after the Voice failure where they salve their hurt by saying it was the result of racism rather than accept it was the result of their failed policies. They are determined to not learn from history. Then again its not really possible be a leftist without refusing to learn from history. Is Australia a racist country? Well, define 'racist country'. Does it mean it contain some racists? Answer ...yes. Are a majority racist? Answer...no. Are our policies racist? Answer...absolutely no. If the criteria is that it has a minority that are racist then every country on the planet is racist and the claim is without meaning in that context. But what people like Tingle want to get away with is the simple claim that, since they themselves aren't racist (in their mind) then anything that occurs that doesn't follow their think is definitionally racist. Welcome to the ABC. We live with it. Tolerate it. Laugh at it. Posted by mhaze, Tuesday, 4 June 2024 4:20:33 PM

mhaze,
As a devout Trumpster are you into wearing animal horns on your head, and painting your face red, white and blue? Just asking. Posted by Paul1405, Tuesday, 4 June 2024 6:31:58 PM

Excerpts:
"The Constitution may continue to exist in name, but it has mostly been replaced by an administrative state of bureaucratic experts.
Trump is the greatest threat to this ruling class since Richard Nixon. He has therefore aroused more raw political passion than anyone in recent memory. Making him a convicted felon is a calculated gamble to keep him from returning to the White House. There is a risk it could backfire. But the ruling class knows that Trump is entirely alone in the political establishment. He has the support of millions of voters—almost certainly a plurality of the American people. But he is opposed by virtually all of the influential social, economic, political, and cultural interest groups that determine the outcome of elections."
"Things are now becoming clear even to those who haven’t been paying attention, or were in denial. The citizens of the country are realizing that their way of life is dependent upon opposing the ruling class. They are beginning to realize that Trump is protecting their rights, and he is paying a price for his actions in a way that it is not simply personal, but political. Whether the American people themselves are willing to accept the hardship and costs of opposing the ruling class remains to be seen."
Most won't read it. More won't understand it. But this is the greatest event since the rise of Reagan and it'd be a shame to fail to at least recognise it.
And if you think this only applies to the US, think again. I saw an Australian Minister of Immigration say it was OK that he lied to parliament because he was just repeating what his bureaucracy had told him. They lied to him - he lied to us. All OK. And no one will be sacked or even sanctioned.
