Dear Shadow Minister,

I'm not an economic expert and our financial crisis is
complex. I'm trying to not make this political and
factcheck information available. Here's a link
that I found interesting:

AC

They are all self-serving hypocrites who are either too stupid to recognise it, or too stupid to know that we recognise it in them. Some of the sociopaths honestly belief that they are better than us, and know more than we do about what is good for us. Politicians are not our friends; they are our enemies. The days of down-to-earth, practical politicians who have lived and worked in the real world are long gone.

Another example of the anti-democratic bastardry of Australian politicians comes from the Labor/Green ones in the ACT. I have just been notified that there will not be an appeal against the putsch against the Catholic Church and Calvary hospital because the government thugs said that, no matter what happens in the courts, they will go ahead with the putsch, and backdate legislation to fit. And we talk with disdain about Communist China a Russia!

The Supreme Court has already found for the Leftist thugs and, as far as I am aware, their hasn't been even a squeak from the LNP. Comrade Albanese supports them, of course.

I watched Julia Zemira's Home Delivery at 1pm.
She interviewed Gillian Triggs and discussed her
work and past. "Speaking Up," is a new book written
by Triggs and is worth a read especially in these
times when it is so important to "get your facts
right and speak up!" She has faith in the decency
of most Australians - as do I.

When, last year, I first flagged this up-coming disaster I wrote:
"But as the problems grow and become more apparent, the government, whoever they are will be blamed.

Although the real culprits are the most recent leaders, the current government will carry the odium. This is why winning will be a poisoned pill. Addressing the errors of the last 5 years will take a generation, but the government for the next 3 years will carry the burden and blame for not doing so."

So agree with Foxy et al (well even a broken clock is sometimes right) that this isn't entirely the fault of the current government. Had the election by some miracle gone t'other way, we'd still be facing the same problem. To reiterate what I said back then, the problems are caused, at their root, by the profligacy of the last 15 years and in particular that of the lockdown mania.

That said, it is also true that the current government isn't really doing anything of substance to address the problems. Fiscal policy remains slack, future profligate spending is being locked in and the net zero idiocracy continues to draw them in like a moth to a flame (with the same likely results).

The last time we faced these crises, it took 15 years and a 'recession-we-had-to-have' to fix it.

Stand-by and prepare accordingly.

Paul revealing his inner communist writes.."Whilst ever we are subjected to this "free market" economics we'll be subjected to boom and bust."

That's true. But the alternative is the systems people like Paul admire which replace 'boom and bust' with 'bust and bust'.
