Hassy,

Oh! If only it was so simple, dealing frequently with homeless people, talking with them, trying to understand their position in life. I realise for many of their problems go far deeper than simply not having a roof over their head. Some have terrible emotional and psychological issues, and sometimes its not that easy to simply direct them towards those offering assistance, both government and private agency's. I would hope no one is beyond help, but some folk come pretty close.

Paul1405,
Years ago, there was a National Service in which, when serving, young people learned how to fit in, how to stand up for their Rights AND responsibilities, learn to accept that reward only comes via effort etc etc.
Then along came (in Australia) the Big Goaf who promised no more having to put in an effort to be a member of society, just hold out your hand or bleat some sort of discrimination or psychological problem & presto, just like a Jeannie out of bottle, many could go through life supported by others.
Now, they outnumber the taxpayers & wonder why things are getting a bit worrisome.
The genuine disabled are being discriminated because the fakes & pretenders outnumber them & grabbing most of the fun ding.
Hasbeen told us an alternative, will they take it or keep milling around the concrete jungles & breed like you know what forever ?
