Foxy,
Why do you think parroting Labor's talking points would impress anyone? Under Labor energy prices, inflation and interest rates have escalated massively in direct contradiction of their promises and their price control measures are like a bandaid on a bullet wound. Labor cannot blame anyone else. Posted by shadowminister, Thursday, 13 July 2023 6:23:38 AM

The ranter ttbn has his say, and then Foxy comes in with a level headed response, thanks Foxy. Maybe the Kudos Kid will arrive to sprinkle you with his pixie dust of kudos, NEVER!
Whilst ever we are subjected to this "free market" economics we'll be subjected to boom and bust. Interesting that the Freemarketteers on the forum seem to be demanding greater government economic intervention. What SM is not saying is there are other surveys not this defecto Liberal Party one, which show Dud Dutton and the Noalition are as popular with voters as ants at a picnic. Maybe we need Robo-ScumO and his Robo-Debt back to make more voters commit suicide. Posted by Paul1405, Thursday, 13 July 2023 6:55:24 AM

Perhaps you actually like arguing with idiots; and that’s your business, but it is waste of time, particularly when you are right, as you generally are. The people you argue with, on OLO at least, are just loud mouthed ideologues trying to bully other people into shutting up. I've been on OLO pretty much from its inception, and nothing has changed, with the same people belting out propaganda that they've got from their political heroes or some ratbag on Google. They are not interested in discussion, just in making a noise. I no longer even look at the shite the nitwits in question - we all now who they are - belt out. There are enough sensible posters here to read and comment on without giving these losers opportunities to keep barking. Posted by ttbn, Thursday, 13 July 2023 10:38:27 AM

Albo's mouth is writing cheques that the Labor Party can't cash.
All the leaders are poor pathetic excuses for what they claim to be. Here's another one right here. "Spanish minister flies on a private jet to attend a climate conference. She then drives on a motorcade, and a 100 meters before the venue she gets off and takes a bicycle, as her two security cars follow her" http://twitter.com/DrEliDavid/status/1678732262219628544 The leadership class have gone 'full retard' Here's some more stupid stuff to show where we are at. The world has become one giant circus, and the clowns are running the show. http://twitter.com/DrEliDavid/status/1679177280025772046 http://twitter.com/DrEliDavid/status/1679195496689041422 http://twitter.com/cb_doge/status/1677379239702839296 http://twitter.com/DrEliDavid/status/1677035053057015809 http://twitter.com/DrEliDavid/status/1677016461406244864 http://twitter.com/CartlandDavid/status/1675504416697511936 Posted by Armchair Critic, Thursday, 13 July 2023 10:58:57 AM

"But we also want to be a renewable energy export superpower, working with countries like Germany on the industries of the future."
It won't be Australia with industries and a future: it will be China and other countries with the sense to stick with coal and gas - the cheapest energy going. Albanese should keep his nose out of everything requiring intelligence and experience (things he doesn’t have) and stop interfering in the market. The loony and his loonier mate, Bowen, keep saying that renewables are cheap, while power prices are actually sky-rocketing. And, like all mad people who keep doing the same thing, they want to do more of what is wrecking our once cheap power with more of their unhinged devotion to wind and solar.
