No group of people should be mentioned in the Constitution, which is a 'rule book' for running the country. Dutton's 'recognition' would also be out of place, as would Tony Abbott's waffling preamble; aboriginals do not need to be recognised any more than anyone else does. But, the main thing to remember is that, while a small minority of aborigines and and an even smaller number of people with some aboriginal heritage might need help, this Voice nonsense would not provide it.

Dutton’s idea of getting out and listening to people in the regions has merit. But, we all know that years of spending billions of dollars via useless quangos just providing jobs for city aboriginals, have done bugger all for for people in remote areas.

Nothing has been said or done recently that indicates that the situation will ever change.

Those who run on emotion will probably vote yes.
Such persons are easily swayed.
Those who think it through will vote no.
When you look at the facts, no is the only response you can have.

The sad thing is that all the yes campaigners were about to pitch their tents outside the Russian embassy and commence a protest vigil against an unprovoked war in Ukraine. Instead, thanks to the recalcitrant Voldemort, they will have to devote another six months of their precious time to the yes campaign. That is a pity, but I heartily agree that establishing a race based electoral system in Australia is of far more importance than the killing of hundreds of thousands of people in an unprovoked war on the other side of the Earth.

Don't worry Indy, if the yes vote gets up, the sun will still come up the next day, and you'll still have your snout in the welfare trough sucking off us taxpayers. All's good!
