FH: Islam confirms the commandments, prayers, fasting, help the poor, honour the parents, be truthful, sponsor the widow and the orphan. Which ‘essential teaching’ of God is missing in your views?

2. Islam doesn't recognize Jesus Christ as Saviour or The Son of God.

FH: Son Of God is a theory introduced by the Nicea creed 325AD. In fact, the trinity was debatable for another 56 years (381AD) on whether the Holy Spirit is part of the Trinity. Throughout the Bible Jesus refers to himself as a lesser being than the Father (on the cross and when asked about judgement day “Only the father knows”)

3. The person and work of Christ is the crucial divider between Christianity and Islam.

FH: Jesus should not be a divider for us but a common ground for a dialogue and not a debate.

5. Islam’s so-called prophet brought an erroneous message from a false spirit that is totally opposed to the Gospel of God's grace.

FH: any 5 y.o. who read authentic meaning translation will tell you that the Quran confirms the contents of the Torah and the Bible. Islam never claimed to be a ‘new religion’.

Just like any Muslim intellect I know, who not only lacks an understanding of 'tolerance', now you are showing a lack of understanding of 'peace' as well.

Since when have Muslims taken Nobel prize seriously - thinking, gee us people of Islam should strive hard to win more Nobel prizes for the glory of Allah?

Never mind narrow-minded violence on the street, winning a few peace prize is proof that Islam is a peaceful religion? That Muslims understand the meaning of peace?

I assure you any Muslim who can prove his worth in peace by miraculously putting a stop overnight to all the violent Islamic demonstrations and suicide bombings ought to AUTOMATICALLY be granted not one, but TEN Nobel peace prize each and every year.

Unfortunately, even if there is such a peace-maker, still does NOT mean that Islam is a religion of peace. Know what I mean?

When debating the details about Islam, people can easily lost sight of the big pictures. Here's one such perspective:-

The ONLY REASON why Islam is a 'great' religion today is that it has well exceeded a 'critical mass' since medieval time. There are enough Muslims to line EVERY STREET in the western world with fanatics who are prepared to defend the 'honour' of Mohammed. (ie. blow themselves up)

What would Islam be like if Mohammed was born in this modern Information Age?

Possibly still a polygamous illiterate, someone who kills if necessary to get his way and one who tries to convince you that he has heard directly from a godhead.

Don't you think he'd be exposed as a lunatic in no time, and be isolated just like any cult leader? I think even Branch Davidians and Sun Yung Moon would outlast him by a BIG margin. Where's the proof that Allah has cummunicate to him? Is there a miracle about Mohammed and his teachings? Isn't he just another mid-east thug or gang leader?

One thing I'm sure though is that there will not be Moon sighting for the 'holy' month of Ramadan. In this modern age, even Mohammed would not be stupid enough to look to the Moon, now that human have stepped foot on that rock.

In other word, Islam was just 'LUCKY' (if that's the right word), lucky that it had accummulated enough 'body mass' since primitive medievial time.

All Islam needs now is to spread it's army of lunatics across the globe and guard each and every street, pick up anyone who dares to utter the slightest dissent against its very 'honourable' prophet...oh yes... and to make sure everyone prays five times a day facing a fixed direction... O allah..u..akbar (is it something like that?)

I hear Islam is here to stay... Yes, of course. What else can you do with one-fifth of narrow-minded world population, even if you can convince them Islam is a hoax? Give them real opium as a substitute? (Hee.hee..hee.... that's funny.)

Being a practile AGNOSTIC , I just wish all these Muslim and Christian Fundamentalists would go and find themselves a afterlife and leave the rest of us to enjoy the present one

As you know Christians live by the New Testament and the Old Testament. The OT was about the law and the dos and dont's that God put there to show humans that it is impossible to reach perfection (God's standard) by ourselves. And to demonstrate how we are ALL sinners regardless how "Good" we think we live.

In the NT God reveals GRACE (his free pardon) - He saves us through the death on the cross of His Son Jesus. By accepting this "gift of salvation" a Christian enters God's family - His eternal Kingdom.

So no more rituals, fasting, helping the poor, counting stars or whatever religious people do these days, NONE of these can help anybody to get any closer to God's standard.

ONLY through Jesus.

So by dismissing the entire New Testament's teaching in the Qur'an, Mohammad has shot himself in the foot. He had to invent a Jesus and call him a prophet like himself no more.

Are you starting to see clearer now? Can you see how the two teachings are different? Yours is a religion of DOs while Christ Has DONE it all for us.

Your Qur'an does not FOLLOW the bible - it mentions some bits apropriate only to islam.

For all religious purposes islam is a fraud.

We are happy with our culture and have no desire to change, And we really don't care how you did things where you came from.

But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our National Motto, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great Australian freedom,
