"Kidman movie bombs at box office
Nicole Kidman's new science fiction thriller, The Invasion, has had a bad opening weekend at the North American box office.
It finished fifth, taking just $US6 million ($7.53 million).
The re-make of the 1956 horror classic Invasion of the Body Snatchers has been savaged by critics."

Nobody has a good word to say about it and Botaxia is criticised by one and all for her lack of emotion and celluloidal, non- expressive face. It is obviously a bomb of the worst kind and Botaxia's worst performance to date. BUT what's the bet our anally- retentive, sycophantic Australian movie critics will still purr and stroke the ego of the Hawaiian born woman they continue to call "Our Nic"?
In one article from America it states that she has taken over Julia Roberts' position on some poll because Julia Roberts has chosen to take time out from making movies to spend more time with her family. Now that she's constantly bombing in every movie she makes, Kidman will probably want a bolthole to flee to. But in order to save face, what's the bet she'll get her puppet Wendy Day to release a bulletin that she too, is taking a rest from movie-making in order to spend more time with family? Recently Jackman flew from the set of Australia to attend a charity function organised by his wife but Botaxia didn't bother to accompany him.She is going to need her puppet Wendy Day to pull some very ingenious strings in the near future.

She might have Wendy make a statement that she is taking time off to be with family,but she won't ever actually do it.She is already signed up to film 5 more flops not counting the epic bomb Australia.She can't take time off.If she doesn't have a script she doesn't know what to do or say.She doesn't have a personality of her own.And she is even worse at trying to act like a wife and mother than she is at acting on screen.Why do they keep giving her roles when it's pretty clear that she can not bring in moviegoers.How much money are studios willing to lose on her becfore they cut her loose.They lost 11 million on her salary alone not counting everyone else's and prodution costs and everything else.HOw do they even stay in business with stupid desisions like this?

I am amazed at the absolute unawareness she possesses at how grotesque her movie career and her facial expressions, or lack thereof, now appear. The bubble she seems to live in is on par with W. Bush's administration. I don't beleive, Morgan, that she can take a break from the "fame game"...for her kids, her husband or anything else. There's a story and a new video out now about how her lips seem to be even more swollen looking... i can see her pic, but i cant see the video... (comp. incapatability...) but it does look excessively overdone. She has about 5 more movies lined up, 2 just announced in the past 2 weeks! Can you imagine any interviewer, anywhere, asking her why she keeps making worthless movies? Why not take a break from the mediocity? No, she seems too preoccupied with botox, collogen, movie deals, movie sets and movie fantasy.

If you take away all that stuff maclen, she has absolutely nothing and she is absolutely no one of any significance. Hard realities to face and she is completely unable to face any type of reality. Makes me wonder what developmental stages she missed when she was growing up. I for one am glad she is bombing. The only PR that the movie received was to watch for the mistakes in all the shots filmed on the streets of D.C. and there were a lot of them.

Banbotox, I was checking out the message board at nicolekidmanunited...which i had heard about for the Urban Myths site...and of course they were hopeful for the movie. One commenter even made a prediction that it would gross 20 mill that first weeknd. OF course, when it bombed, they blamed the studio, it wasnt kidmans fault. Right now there predicting that the newly announced movie she'll do, The Reader, will win her another Oscar, but my thinking is, what about the upcoming movie Margot at the wedding? That's coming out in only two months, it seems they arent as enthusiastic about it as the Reader. But thats how the kidman apologists are... they seem to convince themselves that her glory and acclaim is just around the corner... Well i can predict how this indie Margot movie will do...a film festival, limited release, so so reviews, anemic box office, and no oscar nom.
