Yes Maclen, you're right. It was for every $1 she took home, she earned $8 at the box office. Have you read any reviews of The Golden Compass yet?

Ah Thank you for correcting me, I actually read the article in a busy cafe with some disruptions and was using my memory when typing up the post but yes this is much worse.
I can remember when 'Peacemaker' came out I was actually excited about the fact she did a movie with George Clooney ( the big spunk that he is) but in the end the movie was terrible and this is when I came to the realisation that her so called talent was questionable. Every movie I have seen since then with her in it has not altered my opinion. Movies for me are about taking the viewer to another place for a couple of hours, she has never successfully done that for me. As for her PR persona she comes across as a diva who thinks her s**t doesn't stink. There is one problem with all of this though HER SMELL GIVES HER AWAY and her smell is PUTRID. Well, wakings, the announcement today of another... of the countless she has lined up!... movie, another remake, of another similar story line, her repetitiveness, is absolutely ridiculous. The main theme of her movies is the lack of creativity. The Peacemaker, for instance, is basically The Interpreter... replace clooney with Penn. Birth is basically Fur, just replace the kid with robert downy jrs chewbacca. The musical moulin rouge is remade into the "epic" Cold Mountain, tragic lovestory, just replace magreggar with jude law...and now we have this new remake, a shut in woman who starts to see ghosts, The Others redone, I guess they just get rid of the kids. Unbelievable.
And morgan, I havent seen any reviews of golden compass, just that they showed a 10 min clip at Canne a few months ago. There isnt even any new reviews of the Invasion, which comes out only a week and an a half from now. the silence is deafening, the studio certainly smells bomb and is sitting on it till the last minute... makes me wonder now if kidman will stay away, using filming in Oz an excuse again. Wakings, can you please describe the smell? I asume it does not resemble Chanel No. 5?
When I worked with her years ago, the only smell she emitted was the scent of one who was on the trail of hunting down and disposing of any other young actress who got in her way. Posted by morgan, Thursday, 9 August 2007 2:39:21 PM

Well, I would gather that the smell eminating from botoxia is the whiff of desperation, with an overwhelming stench of failure... and I cant imagine her exodus into the wild and dusty outback is helping any with the odor of endless and needless overindulgance and glutinous self engrandeurment... meaning I think this movie is also gonna suck...

So, finally, a new review of kidman's latest debacle... the first of many, I'm sure...
http://emanuellevy.com/article.php?articleID=6683 ...does this sound familar? What I want to know, who are the morons that are gonna have her "produce" a movie for them? Which idiot is gonna pay her 10s of millions for this? Predicting her failures is easier than shooting fish in a barrel...oh yes, a side note, notice the pics of botoxia on the left side of the page, her face seems to she "shifting"... (her eyes are moving closer together!) under the unblinking eye of the camera... shes melting.... shes melting! Posted by MACLEN, Sunday, 12 August 2007 8:23:22 AM
